Mom Makes Disturbing Discovery on Kid’s Common Core Homework

I have written for a long, long time about the evils of Common Core. Not only are our children being taught Islamic doctrine, Christianity is being banned as a topic. As is the Constitution, the Founding Fathers and the history of our nation via the Civil War and before. Every single topic taught is screwed up, but perhaps none more so than math… where a simple answer of 75 to the problem 103-28 is a wrong answer. According to this bozo teacher, it should have been 70, because of an estimating technique. That’s not math… that’s guessing and reasonable estimation which is a formula for failure, chaos and death. Welcome to the ABCs of Progressivism.

Liberals are NOT teaching our children the same way that most of us were taught back in the day. We were taught real American history, not about Allah and Muslims. We were taught how to speak, write and spell ENGLISH properly. And we were allowed to play tag, dodge-ball and other sports that liberals have somehow deemed ‘unfair.’

And when it came to math, well, there was NEVER a question that 2+2=4. Period.

However, now-a-days the education system has changed- in a terrifying way. A huge problem that our children are facing is called COMMON CORE. It’s actually insane.

America’s Freedom Fighters have done countless articles on the insa...and the liberal education ‘system’ and it is crystal clear that most parents are less than thrilled- to put it mildly.

America’s children are constantly bringing homework assignments home that have parents extremely concerned, and I don’t blame them at all. If I had children in school in this day and age I would be tempted to home-school them.

Here is another example of the insanity that our children face daily because of Common Core. This is seriously unbelievable and I think you will agree.

A mother named Larisa Yaghoobov Settembro recently posted this on her Facebook page which exemplifies the problems parents and children are facing.

Her post reads:

I’m back. Because I just CAN’T. I can’t not say anything. I can’t not call out the complete insanity of this Common Core Math. Please explain to me in what CRAZY, BACKWARDS, MAKE BELIEVE WORLD this makes sense??

Math is FACT! Fact is 103 – 28 is ACTUALLY 75. As in actually. Factually. And yes, reasonably.

In this scary world of FAKE MATH, 75 is not the correct answer?! In order for the answer to be REASONABLE, my daughter needs to estimate and come up with the WRONG answer?!?!

This math belongs in the world of unicorns and leprechauns. Not in the real world…where numbers matter!

These are our future doctors that will be prescribing “reasonable” doses of medication, future architects that will design on “reasonable” measurements, and future engineers that will build on “reasonable” plans!

Home school is NOT the answer for me. But a change in our education system is absolutely necessary. We cannot build a future on this kind of thinking. Please share this post if you agree!

Will someone on the Left please raise your hand and tell me how that is a “reasonable” answer?! Why are children being counted off for finding and reporting the right answer? It’s scary when our children are taught that they don’t need “actual” figures. ‘An estimation will do, dear…’ is now the norm. I don’t think so.

I think that John Taylor Gotto said it best: “I’ve noticed a fascinating phenomenon in my thirty years of teaching: schools and schooling are increasingly irrelevant to the great enterprises of the planet. No one believes anymore that scientists are trained in science classes or politicians in civics classes or poets in English classes. The truth is that schools don’t really teach anything except how to obey orders…”

Our system is broken. The Common Core needs to go because our children deserve better!

In the 90’s, I home schooled my children by choice. Even then, the school system was out of control. Now, it is beyond insane. I don’t care what you have to do, what it costs or what you have to sacrifice, get your children out of the public school system and either into private schools or home schooling. Expecting that this will get better or correct itself on its own is foolish and naive. Your children’s future is at stake. We have children and they become our lives. They are the single most important thing to us and they are our future. Do you think handing them over to Marxists every day will lead to anything but the very destruction of your children? Our grandchildren are all in select private schools and there are many ways to accomplish that if you decide to. Home schooling can be an incredible experience for a family. Please don’t sacrifice your children to a globalist agenda that wants nothing more than robotic slaves to do their bidding. Choose wisely.

We need an Education thread or Common Core thread..Home school your children folks or at least reinforce it because they sure are, and they control your kids for many hours a day while you have to work!!!!!! This is all part of "dumbing" down society, agenda 21, or what ever you want to call it....It is real...Wake Up

As a straight A student of math - years ago - I was so disturbed by what I discovered. Working with the Kids Ranch helping after school mentoring kids needing reading encouragement, I was asked by one of the parents if I'd be willing to help her son with his math. He they lived close by so I took that on my own - not as part of the Kids Ranch program. I contacted the school, got the information of which math books I'd need - they would not let the kids take the books home, so I had to order them. $183.00 was the cost; however, the sales person offered to get them for me free.  When I started working with the books, I was thoroughly confused. There were diagrams, and triangles, but no true math.  I ended up having to learn the stuff from the school, then I went back to teaching him the correct math skills. His parents were as disturbed as I. No wonder kids are struggling with math.
