The Congress and the courts have used the Commerce clause to usurp the limits of the Constitution

Something from Mangus Colorado;

I am watching news reports about marijuana State law powers - There appears to be a major trap for the Progressive Socialist Democrats and the U,S, Congress and then the Supreme court? The Congress and the courts have used the Commerce clause to usurp the limits of the Constitution. They all base their view on the Wheat case https://scholar.google.com/scholar_case?case=17396018701671434685&a...
Which is case law precedent and allows them to rule over all commerce that could have effect on trade of any kind. The Founders wrote this clause to protect trade as in free trade not to regulate it - They were fearful of one State blocking sea port access or river access to transport goods again not to regulate all trade between the States?
So now we find the Blue States liking both commerce being controlled by the Federal government and giving the Federal Government power over States and our economies? Well now the left is arguing on both sides of the argument about Democracy and Federalism? Seems the left now wants States rights to rule again but do they really? Maybe they do not know what they are wishing for if the 10th Amendment is again valid then the 14th, 16th and 17th might be invalid? Surely the use of the Commerce clause would be gone?
Are they too smart by half?????
