Got a reply from a person met on Stop the Insanity/ and he replied to a little fun item I sent him about one of our cats - the one that banged on the window, at 4am and we thought it was someone at the door. Anyway, his reply also included the following.

I told a radio talk show host that with Trump in office and spinning up a  administration that looks tough but fair, I am feeling less endangered from where our country was headed, Still broke all the time but the ends meet, not every month but eventually they do. Thanx for thinking of me, I go to the available pages and see what's fresh and exiting @we the people USA  and I see you work there, Gee we did shirley shake the pillars of heaven did we not? Anyway in a nut shell, obama gutted the democratic Party, and as the democrats picked up and ran with every bizarre thing that he put out more and more people who hadn't voted in a long time and those who never had stepped up to the plate  swung for the guy the medias didn't want the country to have but the people did. every body won even though many will never recognize that.

  I used to talk about the electorate and how desperately it needs more than a few facts and a comprehensive truth to fulfill its obligation  to the nation state.  This election, the voters had a confused mess to sort out, and as the Medias continued to betray its constitutional obligation many voters voted counter to the deceptions they saw and some of those by sheer instinct alone. Damn that was a ride wasn't it! thanks again for remembering me, This  month I turned 57. Want some Trump stickers ? VP "

 

For those who didn't hear about the early morning cat attack. We have 8 cats, ones we have rescued over the years. Our latest find - "Tigger" loves to come and bat me in the early morning, trying to tell me to let him out, I guess. (We have an enclosed, 30 by 8 enclosure for the cats - all enclosed, top to bottom with fencing and also chicken wire. Don't want the dang coyotes to get them.) Anyway, at 4Am, we heard a knock, knock, knock and it sounded like the front door. So I hollered just a minute, got dressed and checked out the front door. No one, but the old feral cat that sometimes comes around - he was just lying in a circle waiting patiently. So I fed him, checked for tire tracks, footsteps, but nothing. Back to bed, A few minutes later, I thought where is Tigger? Checked the bathroom, there he was, and just as I came around the corner, I heard, bang, bang, bang. Same sound - he was batting at the window to chase away a little rabbit.
