From our buddies on ResistNet:

We were asked to get the word out on Scott Brown running for the Senate in MASS to take the late Ted Kennedy's seat held for 40+ years. If we can get a conservative into this seat, this could de-rail healthcare and cap-and-tax for good!

Anyone across the country who is interested in phone-banking on Scott Brown's behalf, please contact Field Director Brad Hansen at:

brad@brownforussenate.com or call 509-595-4683

Brad will set you up with a user-name and password. You will receive an email with your unique user name and password, as well as a link to the website where you will log in. Once you are logged in, watch the
tutorial on how to use the system and then you can start making calls.

Jan 7, 2010

Dear Mike,
I would appreciate your assistance in helping to distribute this information to your groups or on your websites. Please feel free to cut and paste to get the word out. I am currently experiencing issues with my internet provider filtering my emails.

Looking forward to seeing you all on January 14th at the capitol. Thank you for your assistance!

Your patriot friend,

Tawnya

· Patriots without appoints can see if their representatives are free to meet with them or drop off letters

We will also be filling the afternoon with various speakers from around the state. The purpose of these speakers will be to educate, inform and enthuse people to take action! (Speaking order not yet assigned)

Please make appointments with your legislators for January 14th, and write letters (include your mailing address) to be hand delivered while we are in Olympia. It is not our intention to "storm the capitol" but to fully support Sovereignty efforts. The event is entirely FREE to attend.

THANK YOU for your time, your support and your energy. Please let me know if we can count on representation from your group at this very important event. You won't want to miss this!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED CAN YOU LEND A HAND?

ARTISTIC DSTRICT LEADS

We need one person for each district that would be willing to make a sign (preferably on 20"x30" foam board) with their legislative district number and the larger cities in that district printed on it. Should it be rainy, I would suggest wrapping the sign with saran wrap. We want our legislators to be able to find their constituents and make it easy to people to connect with others from their district!

IF YOU ARE ATTENDING AND WILL MAKE AND CARRY A SIGN PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Districts we have volunteers for at this point: 3,4,6,7,8,21,25,26,32,35,37,40,43,45,46

As the districts are claimed they are updated on our website citizensforHJM4009.ning.com

LEGISLATIVE ACTION GUIDES

We need 6-8 LEGISLATIVE ACTION GUIDES who know the capitol campus well and that want to assist patriots in finding their legislators offices during the Sovereignty Winter Fest. Our intention is not to storm the capitol, but to file through in an orderly fashion. PLEASE help us out as we want to ensure that everyone that wants to drop off a letter or speak with their legislator can. LEGISLATIVE ACTION GUIDES will make a HUGE difference in the success of this event.

IF YOU KNOW THE CAPITOL, OR ARE WILLING TO LEARN WE CAN USE YOUR HELP!

CLEAN UP TEAMS

If you are coming early and will be available to help us set up, or are staying and will help us clean up please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If you would be willing to HELP OUT and VOLUNTEER please notify me by email at tiyoweh@verizon.net

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN GIVE US A HAND!

If you can make a donation to help cover the 1,761.50 for the audio, porte potties etc. it would be greatly appreciated. We do not have a financial sponsor for this event. However we were fortunate to have fellow patriot, Brad Walker from Flamingo Audio step up to offer us a discount rate on the audio.

The 2nd American Revolution - it's done brewing, ready to be served.
We the People - We're Raising our Expectations for Representation.
We will create, support, and elect "Statesmen" not "Statists".
Prepare for the rebirth of the American Founding - so help us God!

Having played football, hockey, b-ball, baseball and other sports with a ball, now look at golf, and being a member of the Tactical Shooters association and IPSC, I have to clearly agree with Thomas Jefferson.

"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." --Thomas Jefferson, letter to Peter Carr, 1785

Thanks Mike, apologize for being "lazy" (GIYF). Lynn is right, this is a must-read, must-support resolution in my mind. Guess I'll be writing some letters...

I am very much expecting this sort of thing following passage of any health care legislation, along with instantaneous court challenges. We need to keep fighting even if/when they get obamaCare passed.

I did ask Jon Russell flat out "would you enter a motion to repeal the obamaCare law when you are elected to the US House". His answer was "Absolutely".

“It is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth — and listen to the song of that siren, till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those, who having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it might cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.”
