Good day,
I picked interest in you after going through your short profile and demanding it is necessary for me to write to you immediately. I have something very important to discuss with you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (ronmorri01@gmail.com) for full details.
Best regards,
Ronald Morris.

Well Marrand, looks like this site will be going away. I've been unable to check it out much - too much going on at home. Loaned my husband's car to daughter for a few weeks so she could get hers fixed. Two days later, we are coming home in my car and the serpentine belt quit. We coasted a bit, after it failed, until we got to the service station.  Now Tom's 1 ton truck is acting up and we are trying to get his big boat ready for fishing. No way, did I ever tell you that he has over 100 fishing rod/reels? Every time we see some at a garage sale or at Goodwill or St. Vincents' resale stores, he buys them. I could start a sporting goods store with the stuff he has acquired. (7 boats, big and little, hundreds of fishing lures and such. And as for tools, even one very large lather. Welders, torches and all that. Wish I knew more about some of them, I can run new electrical lines, use most of the small stuff like saws and drills, but that large drill press and the metal lathe, no way.  My mom used to run the welder in my dad's company, but I never got involved there. Liked office work much better.

I have been collecting lots of articles from the various alternative media, and have put them on several DVDs for my grandkids, and my 2 little great grandchildren -  for the future.
And if I need to check out the candidates in 2018 and 2020, I'll have them for reference. Just in case, you'd like to respond to me - I'm providing my regular email address. So take care, and keep on with your pinching back at NYT when you get the notion.

Hey you, did you respond to this NYT editorial?  Just wondering. And where are you? Give up on this site.?

See Why Gun Owners Are Furious about Last Paragraph of NY Times Editorial

gunviolence

Liberal politician Rahm Emmanuel said never let a scandal go to waste. And that’s exactly what the NY Times is doing by using a front page editorial to discredit the 2nd Amendment and calling it a moral outrage. According to The Blaze:

https://twitter.com/nytimes/status/672989518790815746

The editorial board for America’s paper of record argued it was irrelevant the San Bernardino attack was likely connected to terrorism.

[M]otives do not matter to the dead in California, nor did they in Colorado, Oregon, South Carolina, Virginia, Connecticut and far too many other places,” the editorial stated. “The attention and anger of Americans should also be directed at the elected leaders whose job is to keep us safe but who place a higher premium on the money and political power of an industry dedicated to profiting from the unfettered spread of ever more powerful firearms.”

In the last three paragraphs, the Times editorial board wrote that the wording of the Second Amendment is “not necessary to debate” and suggested Americans willfully give up their guns to the government “for the good of their fellow citizens.

It is not necessary to debate the peculiar wording of the Second Amendment. No right is unlimited and immune from reasonable regulation.

Certain kinds of weapons, like the slightly modified combat rifles used in California, and certain kinds of ammunition, must be outlawed for civilian ownership. It is possible to define those guns in a clear and effective way and, yes, it would require Americans who own those kinds of weapons to give them up for the good of their fellow citizens.

What better time than during a presidential election to show, at long last, that our nation has retained its sense of decency?

The front page placement of the editorial marked the first time the Times has placed an editorial on its front page since 1920.

The editorial itself was met with fierce reaction from gun owners online.

Many dared the newspaper to try to take away their guns, with some threatening violence against anyone individuals who would attempt to confiscate their weapons.

Look here, Marrand. I came here mostly because of you.  So where are you. And, I also got into a bit of a tiff with your Blades. His thinking is act first, then repent.  He got upset because I'd changed his words - didn't, but he jumped to conclusions. Oh well. If I have an opportunity to reply to one of his posts, I'll watch every word. And if he still gets the wrong message - it is his own problem.

Tell you what, though. I really wish the site was more like it is on Stop This Insanity. It is much easier to maneuver. Only ten discussions, but within many thoughts. And they are posted in order of posting.

I have asked a few to take a look, but with just a very few people left, no one seems really interested.

Oh, I forgot to mention - Jack Ludwig is getting to be more and more like my husband. Too dang logical and pinpoint targeting.  I'm more of a open-minded person. Seems that he is getting further away from my thinking and yours. He digs deeper and does much more investigating - I take things as they appear, until something comes along to show me a different view of things.

Hey you. Where the heck are you?  You aren't giving up are ya? And if you disappear, I'll be blaming myself for that.

Hey friend, have you given any thought about coming back to Stop This Insanity?  Right now we are very few, but I believe you'd like Voted Perot (think you may have read a few of his posts - sometimes I can't follow his remarks. Think he is trying to confuse me. And of course, Jack Ludwig (jwlud on STI). I can track that posts so much better there. But will still stay on We The PeopleUSA and Tea Party Organizers, also.   Seems to me you did go on that site for a bit, but then Kroz was also there. And you disappeared.  Think about it anyway.

Jwlud has signed on and is posting here. I like him - mostly, but have had a few discussions with him.  Actually, I have told him about you and said that I enjoyed your comments because both of you seem to have the understanding about politics. And Are willing to take back talk from others without getting into a nasty discourse. Anyway, if you read some of his posts and feel interested in friending him, that would be nice. Jackludwig is his name here..

Hi, Marrand. Trying out this site. Also one of the others on Stop this insanity has also signed up. Not sure what he signed in as, however. Jwlud was his ID on Stop This Insanity.

Marrand and Blades, we need to do several things concurrently if we want to prevail against the highly organized opposition.

Marrand,

Glad you came here. I hope everyone from the old site does too. We can all work together and build something good here. My rules are the three simple ones listed on the main page, easy to read and follow. The 4th is a general explanation of them.
