We The People USA

Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

I am wondering how long in years , will it take to have a new party win. I can see the division in both parties.I believe that if a new party adopts principals that will draw from both parties would bring success very soon. The Libertarian party fits that bill. The Libertarian party has principals based on individual liberty, small government, fiscal responsibility, and strong value in the constitution. With the establishment showing themselves in both parties is probably the time to do it...It will take conservatives and liberals to realize that these principals mean more than our selfish stances on social issues. We must realize that we all need to stand up for each others rights to liberty...That is how our country made it this far....I for one am ready for the revolution that will take place after the establishment steal the election from We The People.....What say you

It is something that has been kicked around for decades Kevin. Unforuntitly most voters have little interest in party affiliation or in the details of the mechanism. It would be very difficult to build a following of substantial size. Someone special or something special would have to come alone to help achieve such a task. I am not saying it is not possible or even worthy of trial, I just don't have the ideas how to make it happen.

Reflect on two realities:

* The catalyst/idea that birthed the Republican Party; the abolition of Slavery; is long gone.

* Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come.

At the end of the day, its up to the citizenry, in whose name this Republic was established.

* Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come.
Outsiders for office ?
Just sayin !

It seems to me that the citizenry is pretty ticked off at the state of affairs within politics now. Then add on the stealing of an election.I would think that now just might be as good a time as any..

the only group who would think that an election has been stolen would be some of the Trump supporters. That would not be enough ticked off citizens to generate a movement for a new party that would have any strength. Yes, those ticked off voters would prevent the republican nominee from getting elected but that is the extent of their power. To generate a following for a new party, you need a person of greatness or an idea that rings at the top of the voters agenda which they feel very passionate about above all other issues. There lies the problem, there is no consensus on a single issue that rises to that passion.

So you think Cruz supporters would not be pissed if lets say Kasich got the nod.

More than 50% of republicans do not like their party because of crony capitalism, and the good old boy network. But then jack You do not see that..

Kevin, there aren't 50% of republicans that agree on anything!

Yes, Cruz supporters would be pissed also but Kasich is not getting the nomination. In either case, Trump or Cruz can't possibly win the election against any democrat with pissed off voters. So why does it matter who we end up with, they can't win. If Cruz can get within 50 delegates of Trump he will probably get the nomination on the third round unless the RNC makes some deals earlier. Cruz will get crushed in the general election just as bad as Trump will.

not all of the delegates have been chosen yet, so lets see how that goes. Trump may get the needed total going in. It could also be a horse race between Trump and Cruz. I say lets see what happens with the finalization of the delegates, then how the voting goes in Cleveland before we start worrying about anyone stealing the nomination. We also need to see what the rules are going to be first before we make a determination.

The real challenge is to stop either Hillary or Bernie from winning the election. This country can not survive another 4 years of Socialism agendas and remain a free Republic.

We all have our preferred candidates but only one of them can win the nomination, and we are so fractured compared to the progressives that they will be a shoe in if we don't unite in common purpose after the winner is declared.

Like I have said before. we must stop Hillary or Bernie from winning. We can't have another Perot style fiasco. The way to do that is for us to get off our butts and start vetting the candidates in our States and Precincts to find the most conservative ones regardless of which party they belong to, and vote them into Both houses of Congress, both houses of the State Legislatures, and even Local elections.

Doing that we will have a solid base to oppose ANY presidential agenda that does not meet our combined requirements for what we want our representatives to do.  The vetting process for those positions needs to be based on the voting records of the candidates on how they voted primarily on Constitutional issues and follow through on their stance on the other issues that have faced us. Like I said before, we need to do the due diligence to position the candidates who share our values on the Constitution and our Freedom and Liberty regardless of which party they hail from.

The Birth of a New Party is on the screen for discussion and guess who steps up and insists that it can't and won't happen 'cuz there ain't enough support for it'. Hm...........how predictable!

That attitude reminds me of the following tale:

A Climber fell from a steep mountain side and while falling, managed to hold on to a tree limb.

After steadying himself, the Climber shouted,"Is there anyone up there who can help me?"

Several moments later, a voice boomed down, "I will help you but first you must let go of the tree limb!"

The Climber looked down, reflected and then shouted up,"Is there anyone else up there who can help me?"

What is the tree limb????? Why it's the GOP, a party long past its expiration date yet it's sycophants can't and won't let go. Addicted to static thinking, akin to Tolstoy's "Old Russian Believers"; they remain embedded in the past, excusing every disastrous policy, rationalizing every instance of grossly incompetent leadership and fantasizing that failure is really success in disguise. Why of course.

An analogy: In the "Closed Circle" David Pryce-Jones correctly asserted that Islam is incapable of change as it is eternally looking backwards. Since, Sharia Law condems any mechanism that encourages dynamism and variety; Islam has become entombed in conflict, strife and violence.

Let me suggest we wave a fond farewell to the GOP leadership and its fan club, wishing them the best, as they are entombed in the past. Instead focus on the crucial task at hand; namely the birth of a party that upholds the ageless principles and values of Conservatism anchored by the Natural Law.

A third party truly rooted in Constitutional behavior., would gain from both existing parties that have done nothing but allow constitutional errotion to advance their own parties agendas and greed. History has proven that change is inevitable. The NWO is morphing it`s brand of change. Their change is rooted in a self image of being superior. The USA constitution is a huge speed bump that they have almost made it vanish. Many are aware of this and it is just a matter of uniting on a common stance. They want division  of the masses. Unifying under a third party will defeat the establishment Bilderberg  crony elite ruling status quo.

Thomas, I never said it couldn't happen I just said it has been tried for decades. I, at least, gave you my opinion of what it would take to be successful but admitted I haven't  a clue how to achieve either one of my options.. but that's more than you were willing to offer.
