To Vote, Or, Not To Vote, That 'IS' The Question

To mis-quote a line from Shakespeare, and then to twist it to my point about this coming election.;

Whether To vote or Not to Vote, that is the question! Tis it nobler in the mind to make a moot point, have a Pyrrhic Victory, and/or go down in flames, losing everything we hold dear, or, Tis it nobler to bite the bullet and fight against the coming darkness, and by opposing it, to end it? Wouldst thou do what must be done to start restoring the Constitution and the Republic? This question we all have to decide for ourselves!

OK, so I'm not Shakespeare. The point is, either we vote or we lose everything!

The most crucial issues in this election, and the most influential in blocking the Elitist Controlled Progressive/Socialists in the Democratic Progressive Caucus, will not lie with the President alone. Remember this, the Progressive Democratic Caucus members hold dual positions in the Democratic Socialist Party and the Democratic Party. They are deliberately masquerading as simply Democrats, and hiding the fact they are card carrying members of the Democratic Socialist Party too. There are some very valid reasons to block either Hillary or Bernie, and tantamount to all of them, is the FACT that the next President will probably be able to nominate THREE Supreme Court Justices and maybe more if the winner serves two terms in the Presidency.

We need to put in place some sort of insurance policy against the potential for damage/disaster to our Republic for these reasons;

The current U.S. Senate has 54 Republicans and 45 Democrats (including one independent Socialist, Bernie Sanders). There are 34 seats up for grabs in 2016, 24 are held by Republicans. Democrats will need to gain 4 or 5 seats to take control.  A total of 469 seats in the U.S. Congress (34 Senate seats and all 435 House seats) are up for election on November 8, 2016, so we don't have much time to unite to block the Progressives from gaining another disastrous "Super Majority" that will in all probability finally destroy the Constitution and with it the Republic..

 Twenty-six (26) Republicans are retiring from their seats in 2016, and that means we will have to try and replace them with Conservative Leaning Replacements who are Pro-Constitution or as close to that as we can find in the fields of candidates who are running. Hopefully Maintaining or Increasing Republican/Conservative/Constitutionalist Representation in Congress.  We can't do that if qualified voters stay home like they did in 2012. If they do, we face the same upset we had then with Obama, and no clear potential for a majority in the House and Senate. Remember the damage to the Republic the Democrats did, and how they totally ignored the majority of American citizens wishes when they forced through their agendas during the 111th Congress having had a "Super Majority" and how damnably arrogant they were to anyone who questioned their agendas then? Do we want to risk that happening again?

This means we must field a strong support at the polls for the most Constitutionally minded and Conservative oriented candidates who are running. We only need to do this within our own local precincts and not for the entire Country.

First, We must fully Vett the candidates we can personally vote for by using their past voting records, Bills they supported, Bills they originated, and Bills they were against by checking their records at;

(  https://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes  , the US Senate page; http://www.senate.gov/reference/common/faq/how_to_votes.htm  and finally, the Congressional Index page; https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/browse/collection.action?collectionCode=CRI )

Second, We must promote them and go vote for them.

Third, We must help get other like minded voters to the polls to vote or help those needing it, absentee ballots.

Fourth, We must keep in contact with our County Clerks and insure they get the ballots to our Military personnel in a timely manner so their votes can be counted.

It is my considered opinion that while the President is the most highly visible office, it's the Congress that determines which way the Country will move. Consider this; The President can not spend one cent unless Congress has appropriated the funds for him to spend. The President can not raise or lower taxes, only Congress can do that. While the President can issue executive orders, they only affect Federal institutions and they can be readily overruled and removed by Congress. The President can not originate laws, only Congress can do that. The President can object to a law and veto it, but Congress can override that veto. The President only sets the tone, it's Congress that decides what to do with it!

The conclusion to this is simple, we must find out who the most Constitutional and Conservative candidates running for Congress are. Those may not be the perfect choice, and in many instances they will only be marginally better than the ones in office. However would it not be better for the Republic if we removed the worst of the worst from office even if, at this time, we can only replace them with someone even marginally better? That's a beginning step in the right direction. This also holds true for the State Legislatures and even Local Offices.

M I read this topic you requested I do and I agree with you, I am going to vote, because voting is the only option I have to help save our country. I plan to vote for Hillary and get as many of my family and friends to do the same and if I am successful and many more like minded citizens do as I will do maybe just maybe we will save this country to fight another day. A Hillary victory does not mean the end. A Trump victory may mean the end for all of us. I can't take that risk. If I am wrong I will be happy to admit I was wrong, but if I am right I won't have the same opportunity to claim I was right.

Jack,

the problem I have with Hillary is her compulsive lying, Flip Flopping, her thinly disguised disgust for our Military, her anti 2nd amendment stand, and the fact that she could potentially nominate 3 Justices that would make SCOTUS 8 to 1 in favor of the Progressive Socialist agenda. That would end our country too. Like I have seen, If you vote a split ticket, you don'y even have to vote for a President, just leave that portion blank.Let's see what happens at the convention.

After the November election I believe it's time to assemble a viable Third Party loaded with Conservatives who honor and obey the Constitutional laws.

Trump will take good care of the Constitution...You will see.

Kevin,

I didn't say he wouldn't. If you drive a car or own a house or business, you buy insurance don't you? you don't expect to have to use it, but you still need it. that's why we have to Vett and Vote for Congress and State Legislatures. Think of it as getting rid of the worst of the worst and putting in someone that's better for the Republic in those spots.

M I fully understand your concerns about Hillary. I too have the same concerns, but our risks is at a much higher level then supreme court nominations or even the constitution. China and Russia both have a long rang plan and they are both so far ahead of us on the technology curve. As I have tried to explain many times on this forum, technology drives everything, the economy and political views. Neither China or Russia is willing to put up with unknowns of a Trump presidency so once he steps off the tracks they will not hesitate to completely shut down our entire system. When that happens M how important is the supreme court nominees or even the constitution?

I have been having difficulties connecting with this forum lately. My investigation so far indicates it maybe a problem with my internet service provider but it also could be linked to wethepeople server. I will need to do some further digging to isolate the problem more conclusively.

Jack,

I think it's the server because I have trouble too.

Sounds like you see this as the position between Charybdis and Scylla but if we lose the Constitution we are destroyed just as much and a SCOTUS with an 8 to 1 ratio will allow the Liberals to do the things they could not do with the Super Majority. Besides that, don't sell our Military short. Soros wants to shut down our economy and with a Hillary or Bernie he will have free reign to do just that to us like he did to England.

Here is something my buddy the Tradesman had to say on another site about Trump and Hillary;

"OK, so you like and support Trump, I get that. This also applies to those who are opposed to Trump too!

However, the overriding fact of life is;We all still have to go and VOTE! The main and most critical matter is to block Hillary or Bernie from getting into office, and the only way to do that at this point is to vote against them and their Communist Democratic Socialist agendas. If we don't, and either Hillary or Bernie gets in, one of the main things they will be able to do is to load the Supreme Court with Communist Liberal Democratic Socialist Justices. Potentially Three of them! That would change the Court into something akin to what the Democrats had with the Super Majority during the 111th Congress and we all know how bad that turned out, and how destructive it was to our way of life, and how severely damaging to Constitutional Law it was. With a loaded Court, the Elites puppets could completely change the Constitution to whatever they wanted it to mean!

I have seen many well meaning people not thinking clearly, who also consider themselves Conservative minded individuals, are considering voting for Hillary. Mainly because they have bought part and parcel into the dis-information put out by the progressive elites puppets, that Trump will either get us into a Trade War or a Shooting War that we can not win, against China and Russia. That is a load of BULL.

Many others are contemplating just staying home like they did for the 2012 election and we all know how devastatingly that turned out for our Nation. We are now faced with an engineered crisis. Engineered by the Elites who work from the shadows through their Progressive Puppets, to control lives not only here but world wide.

To them we have no more meaning than an Amoeba on a glass slide. We can be likened to Lab Rats conditioned to jump through hoops for their amusement and aggrandizement. In fact they are an insidious and evil bent group of megalomaniacs that as George Soros has so aptly put it think that I don't believe in a God, "I AM GOD". they will actually destroy all of us if it would give them more of a semblance of power and control. That is all they care about. You can see that clearly reflected in the Clinton's history on how they conduct themselves.

The main crux of this election needs to be; Blocking Hillary and Bernie, and as many of their ilk who are ensconced in governmental power. We must get rid of the worst of the worst in every elected position up for grabs this election cycle. At this point it may boil down to electing someone who is only marginally better than the person attempting to get re-elected. So be it! We have to start somewhere, and this election will determine which way our Country will go.

The Elites and their Pavlovian conditioned puppets consider this election to be the penultimate gateway for them to finally rebuke the Constitution and all it stands for and stands against, to initiate their Ultimate Wet Dream of installing a world wide Oligarchy with them at the top."

BINGO

M you miss my point as does your friend. I am not concerned about Trump getting us into a trade war or even a shooting war with China or Russia both those countries have long past that strategy. I said both countries have the technology to shut down our entire system in minutes. Just take a moment to try to rap your mind around that thought. No electrical power anywhere, no forum of communications anywhere,  no forms of mobility except by foot or animal and no means to change that condition.

And you miss my point about how much damage Hillary or Bernie could do to our manufacturing base and Technology systems.

Do you really want to vote for someone like this?

Hillary doesn't understand how her blackberry worked or even how manufacturing works. Even in the position of president it would take her years to tear down our manufacturing system, if even possible. However, China could do it in a fraction of a minute. Now tell me M which condition deserves more attention?

Jack, I believe you are kidding yourself. Who thought Obama could have done such massive damage to America in the time he's been in office. All Hillary or Bernie has to do is to keep that destructive agenda going.

Besides my point has always been that " We Must Carefully Vett all the candidates we can vote for in our States and Precincts so we can pick the best ones that are available to replace the worse ones in office."

Besides appointing people for government positions, issuing Executive Orders to the varied bureaucracies, issuing orders to the military, and Vetoing Legislation he does not approve of, what else does the President do? All of those things can legally be overturned by an Honorable Congress that is doing it's Constitutional Job.

Therefore, Congress could step in and block Trump from initiating what you fear so much, and they would do it provided we have put the right people in Congress!
