We The People USA

Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

Author Unknown;

I used to think I was just a regular guy/gal, but I was born white, which now, whether I like it or not, makes me a  racist.

I am a fiscal  and moral conservative, which by today's standards, makes me a fascist.

I am heterosexual, which according to gay folks, now makes me a homophobic.

I am non-union, which makes me a traitor to the working class and an ally of big business.

I am a Christian, which now labels me as an infidel.

I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which now makes me a member of the vast gun lobby.

I think and I reason,  therefore I doubt much that the main stream media tells me,  which must make me a reactionary.

I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive American culture, which makes me a xenophobe.

I value my safety and that of my family and I appreciate the police and the legal system, which makes me a right-wing extremist.

I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.

I believe in the defense and protection of the homeland for and by all citizens,  which now makes me a militant.

Please help me come to terms with the new me… because I'm just not sure who I am anymore!   I would like to thank all my friends for sticking with me through these abrupt, new found changes in my life and my thinking! I just cant imagine or understand what's happened to me so quickly!  Funny …its all just taken place over the last 7 or 8 years!

As if all this nonsense wasn't enough to deal with… I'm now afraid to go into either restroom!

M if you don't believe in a dictatorship you are not a fascist no matter how conservative or liberal you may be.

You are only a homophobic if you think that lifestyle affects your normal life. You are only considered a traitor of the working class if you don't join the union with the majority of your coworkers where you are employed. You are an infidel to some group of people if you don't believe in their cause, christian, Jew atheist or muslim, your religion doesn't matter. Almost everyone believes in the second amendment, even gun restriction lobbyist, if that weren't true we would not have a second amendment. Only if you are afraid of other countries are you xenophobic. A right wing or a left wing extremism is one who cannot see compromising as a solution. Anti social is one who prescribes to the theories you described above. Our homeland is protected by our citizens. We all play a very important role in that process. You should be concerned about going into a restroom that doesn't fit your anatomic makeup.

Life is difficult as change occurs, but if you use reason to guide you through the difficult times and rely less on emotion, you will successfully work your way through the change.

The author was just expounding on the Progressive/Liberal mind set and using Ironic humor to out the political correctness behind it. that's how I see the piece. What we really need to do is to change back into what we once were. Liberty and Freedom Loving Americans that used Democratic principles that were constrained by a Formal Written Constitution that locked in our God Given Protections and kept chains on the Federal Government. Don't ever forget that the Civil War was engaged not only over the slavery issue, but also over the States Rights issues of interference and taxation by the Government into what at the time was solely the States areas of governance.

I agree with you M the purpose of the author, however this is typical sarcastic humor used by both sides of the political spectrum...and neither gets anywhere near the truth or helps with correcting the misconceptions....and that is my point in my response. The American electric has gotten us into this low level of campaigning and selecting our leaders because of falling for these games. We have Hillary and Trump as our choice to be president and that alone should be discouraging to the majority of Americans. But who are we going to blame for this condition? Is it Hillary's or Trump's fault? I think not. It is the very small group of voters who vote in the primaries and get involved in the dialogue that promotes or condemns theses candidates. For whatever reason 80% of the American public has lost its appetite for this game and the results are very predictable, those with the money and the media will have the advantage and more and more people will continue to drop out of the process. We republicans had a real chance at the beginning of the election process to turn things around again by improving our chances of winning. Instead we throw that opportunity away by letting individuals like Trump and Cruz be a part of the nomination process. We had a candidate on the stage that was prepared and fully capable of winning in November but more important that candidate had the skills to make a difference in how we compete in the world. That has all been lost and it is doubtful we'll ever get that chance again. Fewer and fewer qualified people will consider running for this office because we have made it an impossible dream.

Jack,

If you think mud slinging in politics now, research the kinds of barbs that were thrown by both sides in the Lincoln campaign. We can't hold a candle to those nasty remarks. Besides both sides are posturing against Trump because when he gets in he will screw up all both sides sweetheart deals that are going.

M...mudslinging in politics has gone on for as long as I can remember and I am 72 years old. It is one of the reasons each election has less participation than the last one. Political participation is a good thing not a bad thing in a democracy. You get the kind of government and policies the majority want. Sweetheart deals will always exist in public and private organizations. Money is the driving force and as long as there is money to be acquired sweetheart deals will be there too, with or without a Trump or Hillary.

I would suggest for Patriots who truly want to change things to sign up with a resistance movement. Oath Keepers are taking  memberships. The 3%er`s  I am sure are taking memberships. It will be time to hang up your keyboards boys and girls. I certainly hope you do not crawl under the bed. It is time to prove your Patriotism. When the March on Washington goes down, you will have a big decision to make...If you go and want to meet up. I will be setting up a mess hall. I have big cooking equipment. I am sure there will be plenty of potatoe peelers needed...Bring a tent and plan on staying awhile.

and what is the plan once we march on Washington? It has been done before and I don't see any changes taking place?

Someone much smarter than me will have the plan. I will just help fill in the gaps. I will feed many . That is my calling.

you can't organize a rally without a plan....so your offer to feed many will not help without many to be fed.

If you were let know about 381 ...then you know..If you do not know of 381. Then the lead group does not want you to know... You will just have to wait. I can say only what I know. But not the origin. You will just have to wait and see.

Well said

You are correct Kevin, I know nothing about 381...and I am confident I fall into 99.9% of the American public...so we will all wait patiently for the unveiling of this program....not really expecting a program of that magnitude to have much of an effect.
