Want to know how the lame ducks in Congress plan to "cut" federal spending – which seemed to be a dominating theme of the 2010 elections? They're proposing a plan to take upwards of $44 billion a year from taxpayers and hand it over to illegal (invaders) aliens who are in the United States so they can go to college. The plan is called the Dream Act, for Development, Relief and Education of Alien Minors, and its critics know it as an amnesty program for illegal aliens. Its supporters say anyone who doesn't want to spend the money on college subsidies for illegal (invaders) aliens is "racist(???). "But policy experts are warning the act is truly transformative and in the end, among other things, would authorize federal loans to literally millions of newly qualified applicants and provide a preference for the children of illegal (invaders) aliens in state college admissions.

Recent ICE sweep illustrates national DUI epidemic being fueled by illegal immigration

Last week, over a three-day period, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents targeted and arrested 18 criminal (invaders) alien DUI offenders throughout Maryland. Of those arrested, 13 of them had outstanding orders of deportation, and two had been previously deported (invaders) aliens who returned to the United States illegally (AGAIN). The foreign national fugitives are from the following countries: Bolivia, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico. ICE reports that “Ninety-nine percent of the (invaders) aliens arrested during the enforcement action also had criminal records, in addition to being in the country illegally. Their criminal histories included prior arrests and convictions for a variety of violations, including possession of drugs, possession of weapon, assault, forgery and theft.” Read more here.

An advocacy group partially funded by the U.S. government is helping illegal immigrants who work with fake Social Security numbers recover unclaimed income tax refunds. The New York nonprofit, Neighborhood Economic Development Advocacy Project, has so far helped a dozen illegal aliens get back thousands of dollars in state tax refunds, according to a local newspaper report. In some cases the undocumented aliens use bogus Social Security numbers, which is a serious federal offense....

More migrants facing deportation are getting reprieves

...Although nine out of 10 illegal immigrants facing deportation were ordered to leave the country in the recently completed fiscal year, the percentage given some sort of relief by federal immigration judges in Arizona nearly doubled in the past five years - to 9.3 percent in fiscal 2010, up from 4.8 percent in 2005, according to figures from the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Fiscal 2010 ended Sept. 30. Also, the number of people granted deferred action by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, has doubled in Arizona over the same period - to 31 in fiscal 2010, up from 15 in 2005, ICE figures show....

"They have not been able to get a formal version of amnesty through," Mehlman said, "so what they are doing is saying, 'If you are here illegally and not a menace to society, we will allow you to stay.' "
