Senate Gun Control Votes On Record, and UN Treaty Vote Results On Record; Senators are now on record and were forced to vote ( the vote was held at 4 a.m. Sunday morning, Strange Huh? or did you expect a more fair response from Reid?) on how they stand on Gun Control see the results of the vote on the Lee Amendment 50-49 that would have made it a requirement that 3/4 vote would be required to pass ant new Gun Regulations. Link; http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vot... See how your Senator voted. There were six “Red State” Democrats who voted Against the Lee amendment — Senators Mark Begich (AK), Tim Johnson (SD), Tim Kaine (VA), Mary Landrieu (LA), Harry Reid (NV) and Mark Warner (VA). Gun owners in these states should be sure to voice their displeasure with these Senators. The other provision — an anti-UN treaty amendment offered by Sen. Inhofe — passed by a 53-46 margin. 53 senators, including eight Democrats, voted for the Inhofe amendment to kill the UN Arms Trade Treaty — a treaty that would impose gun registration and possibly even ban handguns and semi-autos, while creating a microstamping requirement that would be technologically impossible to comply with. See how your Senator voted here; http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vot...
Anti-gun Mary Landrieu and Harry Reid voted wrong on both amendments — and even refused to join the eight Democrats who oppose the UN Arms Trade Treaty. This treaty could be self-executing and could, without further legislation, force the U.S. to implement gun registration and bans on semi-autos and handguns.
Gun owners in Louisiana and Nevada, you have some homework to do — Mary Landrieu and Harry Reid need to hear from you!

Reid beefs up base bill to destroy civilian gun ownership. Use the GOA site at;http://capwiz.com/gunowners/issues/alert/?alertid=62542476 to send more letters to your Senators, and don’t forget to visit them during the Easter break at their local offices to confront them about the Reid Bill and demand they oppose it. Let them know their jobs are on the line for the 2014 election if they support it and are the incumbent running. Don’t forget the Representatives in the House either. Hammer it home to them they will lose their jobs come 2014 if they support the Gun Grabbers bills or even universal registration. Never forget for a moment that we are at the tipping point where we could lose everything if we don't overcome the apathy and act.
From "The Blaze"; Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid should expect a letter from Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah) on Tuesday. In it, the three Republican senators warn Reid that they will oppose a motion to proceed any gun control legislation.
“We will oppose the motion to proceed to any legislation that will serve as a vehicle for any additional gun restrictions,” the signed letter reads, according to a copy obtained by Politico.
While the GOP lawmakers don’t specifically mention the word “filibuster,” there aren’t really an array of options when opposing a “motion to proceed.” In other words, the filibuster threat is pretty clear.
Politico’s Jonathan Allen has more:
Reid plans to bring up a gun-control measure that focuses on broadening background checks and cracking down on interstate gun-trafficking after the current Senate recess.
Conservatives are concerned that once that bill reaches the floor, amendments could stiffen restrictions on gun control.
Moreover, they understand that Reid intends to allow liberal amendments that would limit clip capacity and ban certain assault weapons to be offered — even though they would be defeated — to give Democrats a chance to vote on them. For moderate Democrats in competitive states, that amounts to an opportunity to vote no and show allegiance to gun rights.
Would you support a Paul, Cruz, Lee filibuster against gun control legislation?
