We The People USA

Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

Copied From My Thread At teapartytown.us.forum.KathleenGrillo

Good morning my friends and all members here at teapartytown.us!
I'll try to be brief (but difficult for me)!
I've been very busy at WeThePeopleUSA.ning.com - getting acquainted, trying to establish a working relationship with members, etc. This 'old' group (TeaPatyPatriots.nig.com) found their Site closing and in search of a new place to plant themselves on the Net!
That goal has been successfully achieved and individuals who, perhaps, were not involved with TPP.ning.com (& those w/minimal involvement there, like me, are now joining in with wethepeopleusa.ning.com
I encourage all here to check out the new site; a Conservative 'social-site', much like here at teapartytown.us!
Across these various groups, much beyond the two mentioned here, we have countless numbers of Americans -- American Patriots -- working hard to 'Saving Our Beloved Republic' and restoration of American First Principles and Values!
As you know, this is a very critical time in "The American Experiment", with a lawless, Illegal Federal Government in DC --- from Traitor Obama, his co-conspirators, right through both houses of Congress, and, of course, The Supreme Court of the United States which is stacked, almost fully, with prog activist Justices, at least 4 to 5 of the nine, who no more intend to uphold their Oaths than Obama!

Even while each of these 'social Tea Party Groups are working diligently, to be most effective in "Saving Our Beloved Republic", we are as weakened as we are separate!

I believe there needs to be One Coalition, One Umbrella Group, under which numerous Tea Party Groups, as well as other American Conservative Groups, where The Conservarive Movement as a whole can be most effective in ensuring the Safety and Security of The Republic of The United States of America!

At this point in Our Young Nation's History, Our/The 'American Experiment' in self-directed governance is under constant assault by 'The Enemy Within', while they pit group against group, attack Our Social Institutions and Values, and 'illegally import' individuals from other parts of the world whose intentions are in concert with that of "The Enemy Within"! The Federal Government, as a whole, is a Master Manipulator and fully intends to manipulate its 'human' imports to further weaken and ultimately destroy Our Free Republic!

We American Patriots, We Conservatives, We The People Must, Must Stop them Now! Their advances and inroads into Our Republic's very Destruction and Eradication is already on a mass scale! They Must Be Stopped! We the People will not have a Prayer of Success to that end so long as we allow 'The Enemy Within' to further employ all its 'clever', 'manipulative' 'divide and conquer' tactics!

God Bless America!

Great Idea.  Got a plan?

This sounds good ...BUT...To form a coalition must be done with all life styles involved. It must function with the constitution being the only priority. The divisiveness of liberal vs. conservative can not be happening. I am conservative , but I realize that conservatism is a way of life , not a political party. I know that for the constitution to hold its iron, then we all have defend each others rights. To use the constitution to promote one`s way of life over anothers is not how it works. That is how we have been divided into special interest groups....EX: to fight against a gay union is wrong. And to force someone to bake a cake they do not want to is wrong. Keeping the Federal Government out of the marriage game is how we should all be dealing with this. We must educate everyone the importance of uniting all walks of life under the umbrella you speak of.To use hateful speech will only deepen the divide. Hate is the pathway to the dark side. I do like your idea, but what I say is the irony of it.

Thanks to the Tea Party groups, and Hillsdale College, I have been getting booklets that have the entire Constitution, and the most current Bill of Rights.  I have been sharing these with my grandchildren and their families. Also, I have older versions of World Book Encyclopedias, and history books - from before the Government started changing our history. So when the grandchildren come here they get a chance to check out the past.  My 16 year old granddaughter called me a few days ago - she is in a Civics class and wanted to know a few things. Then she asked if I'd like to come in to her class and talk about politics.  She said she wanted to ask her teacher, but right then, she had to go. She was calling from school. Haven't talked to her since, but did find out she is one of 2 children chosen to be Badger Girls. They both will spend a week at the UW and will be able to participate in a session to create their own government. This sure sounds rather interesting. I'll have to follow up with her later. (She and her brother- who is now at tech have been getting a lot of my feelings.) I suspect that Zach will be more of a Tea Party than I am. Kyrsten may just pick up that too. Both are not shy about speaking out.  My thoughts are we must start with our children. Young or older. Since my daughter lost her first husband from cancer and her daughter was only 6, they lived with us for several years. Daughter one  - now 23, has picked up most of my political beliefs. My daughter's 2nd husband died 4 years ago, from cancer which is believed to be due to his military duty in Iraq - as a Military Police, he was guarding the toxic dumps,. His children,  Zach and Krysten had more contact with me than most grandchildren do with their grandmother/fathers.  This leads me to say, if you have children/nieces, nephews, grandchildren, or even neighbor children who respect you - take time to bring up some of the politic issues - appropriate for the ages, of course. But it is also good to be careful of the parents beliefs. Sometimes stepping over their toes can be dangerous.

a coalition representing who? The tea parties are a loosely woven grassroots movement with similar views on a wide range of issues of varying importance. If you narrowed the scope of the issues that would in turn narrow the interest of the coalition. It has been difficult to form any leadership from this movement simply because there is little broad agreement on every issue. Pick an issue and I can give you dozens of variations within the grassroots movement. That is why it is so difficult to mobilize a sizable force on any one issue. A few hundred thousand is generally what has been achievable when ten's of millions is needed. Keven is right. Conservatism is a way of life, not a political party just as liberalism is not a political party. We cannot frame our political views based on life syle beliefs. The constitution allows us to have those lifestyles, but it prohibits you from forcing your lifestyle on others.

No, but we can at least share our belief in the Constitution and what America means to us.  And, hopefully, we can reach a consensus about American freedoms.

Like Benjamin Franklin counseled the fledgling States;

This is what the various Tea Parties need to do if we are to prevail. Unite in a coalition while keeping the individual groups intact but working together to support each other and to stop duplication of efforts. Example; If one group has a petition to Congress to stop something like the Trans Pacific Partnership, all the various groups need to sign the petition. The sheer numbers would make Congress listen.

I kind of have an idea how to set it up..Here is my thought...If we had one group of elected Patriots that run the coalition....lets say one representative from each group Then say all the Tea Party sites that go through a sanctioning of some sort get one vote on whatever. count the votes and the group of the elected representatives act on them....Each person can travel the sites for lobbying purposes but can only vote at his home site.  Know that came through me noggin and could use some tweeking ...but I just thought I would throw it out there.

Kevin,

How about this. The two top leaders in every National Tea Party and Conservative group get tohether with a monthly webinar to decide which group is going to deal with which issue that month, and if the issue is serious enough decide if it will be addressed with a call-in or Fax-in etc. campaign, or if it warrants a protest rally in Washington or at the Representatives local offices, or both. After it is decided the leaders can then inform their own groups what issue is needed to be addressed and the best method to address it by the entire coalition.

The leaders could also determine which issues of a more individual nature to specific groups, and how the other groups could best rally to support and help those specific groups with the methods they decide to use for their specific issue.

Doing that would massivly broaden the base numbers protesting the issues, and numbers are what count to the politicians. That type of coalition could also be used to chastise or boycott the commercial businesses or celebrities that support the Progressive/Socialist agendas.

I believe this would work...But getting it together may prove to be like herding cats...That said it needs to be done...we need to keep this thread going and refining ideas for it....:)  Thanks Kat and to all who contribute here...

That sounds good. The main thing is getting it started. I do not have the skill set to do it. But I would be willing to help...I am sure the expense of this could be received through donation or dues. Unions spend their money on political agendas, so we could counter them as a voting block. Voting blocks get catered to by the political community.

Kevin,

This being a voluntary grass roots idea, there should be no expenses except the phone, fax, and transportation costs the people themselves will incur. If people are really serious, those costs will come out of their pockets. Most personal printers have a Fax provision and the people can send a Fax directly to their Representatives, I do. the computers have the e-mail capabilities and the people can use them with just the cost to their personal time. going to and from local offices will cost gas or fares and that can also be out of pocket.

The same goes for a media blitz with fax and e-mails. I prefer Faxes because that makes a hard copy in the offices and costs the recipients more in paper and ink that it costs people to send Faxes from their homes.

Phone calls are also a good way to protest with and a phone conference would be ideal for the leadership of the various groups to communicate for very little expense.

What is critical is motivating the people themselves to actually do something instead of sit around their keyboards promoting their ideas on what needs to be done. That way has not gotten us very much in the way of victories. Keep it Simple and Keep it active and loud. That is the way to win.

We have provided a niche for some of the new politicians to play a conservative roll and puff, they got themselves a voting block. Ted Cruz has wanted to be a politician since he was young. He realized a direction to achieve his goal. He is still a person who chose to make the political arena, the industry to make his living. Those who start out to be politicians are not Patriot, They have selfish reasons for doing what they do. That is how they pay their bills. They will say what they think you want to hear. Many play the constitutional ploy to get what they want. Some have seen that there is value in playing to conservatives (voting block). I myself will be voting for someone who I feel is a Patriot type of Politician. One who does not need the political industry to pay their bills. There are 2 Doctors running who fit  the bill. The reason why we all feel the proven power of our voting block, is what feeds us to keep going. We all have found this grass roots movement to be the voting block that makes our individual vote more meaningful.(we feel empowered).I would hate to see this movement flat line via stagnant. Momentum is vital for us. To many cooks in the kitchen bake a terrible cake. It may be a spawning ground of many good ideas, but creating a good cake must be done by a more individual cook..
