CHRISTMAS IS A CELEBRATION OF THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST

You will never hear me wish someone "happy holidays" nor see me refer to Christmas as xmas, other than in this illustration.  "x" didn't come to redeem me from my sins, Christ did.  Some people deny the reason for celebrating Christmas so as to be "politically correct", which is an acknowledgement of their devotion to satan or their fear of satanic public opinion.  Jesus said in Scripture that those who deny him in this life will be denied by Him on judgment day.  People who try to take Christ out of Christmas are denying Him and will be denied By Jesus when they stand before His father at the judgment seat.  I would rather be ridiculed for standing up for Jesus now than be sentenced to an eternity in the Lake of Fire later.  I like the old saying, "sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me",  especially when those names come from people who denounce the LORD of lords and KING of kings, the Lord Jesus Christ.

It would fly better if the winter solstice celebrations did not so pre-date even Moses.

Its a co-opted celebration to make the pope pill easier to swallow back when that was a thing.

Also there was no word given for Christians to celebrate his birth. None at all.

Dont feel bad though, every seasonal celebration has been co-opted by whatever religion saw a way to make themselves the hero. Druids were big on making the Sun come back for instance.

I don't care when Christmas is celebrated.  We could have it in March or June for all I care.  Christmas is about Jesus Christ, period.  Time of year has no bearing on it.

Perhaps you should look into how birthday celebrations were viewed by Jesus' own people of the time.

It just was not done. Oh yeah there would be a celebration of a birth and the giving of gifts at the time was not unknown at all but there was never any on going yearly celebration, that is rooted deep in astrology and religions that any Christian or Jew would have no part.

Facts and logic are cruel masters at times but a far sight better than myths and delusions. The time of year is immaterial when the act itself cannot be justified. On matters of God it is only His word that matters.

Lets not even get into Santa.

Or the Trinity... or well there is a lot of things that fall to honest examination. Keep it simple keep it pure and hold fast to the more important matters the rest will take care of itself.

So many historians seem to think Jesus was born in August. I would love to celebrate Christmas when school is out. Let everyone else have their winter break. If it was in August the government would have no say as to how who what where. They could all kiss my keyster.
