Despite his warts, Trump is perceived as both a DC outsider and an agent of change, which drives his appeal to average people.

Conversely, many insist that Cruz is some sort of conservative messiah. Really? Home truth is real simple.

Cruz is necessarily a creature in and of the DC political culture and does whatever he needs to in order to remain relevant. Believing otherwise is pure fantasy. And average people know this also.

I could care less who is a politician or who is even trying to make a career out of political office. When selecting someone to be president I want someone who has a clue how to solve some of the major issues we have. Neither Trump or Cruz can fit that qualification. Neither has a clue how to solve problems, not the problems  the country is facing.

Cruz went to bat for the Tea Party when noone else stood up. This "establishment" crap is BS where Cruz is concerned. Trump does not know the Constitution. That is what has been at stake the last 8+ years. Trump has 4.5 billion dollars. Where do you think his interests lie?
The tactics his campaign uses are unionly familiar. Clinton had Perot in 92, Clinton has Trump in 16 same sh?! different day. Trump makes people fed up with the media and political correctness feel some victory. He is not a constitutional scholar any more than Hussein Obama, the actor/ahole.

Suggest we do not need a constitutional scholar, as worthy as he may be, in the WH. Average people, perceive Trump as a DC outsider and agent of change; whatever his shortcomings and warts may be, real or imagined.

As for Cruz, it remains to be seen what he is made of but for sure he is a creature of the DC culture and average voters also know this.

Regarding the TP, a number of their sites, NOT including WE THE PEOPLE, are rabidly abusive and contemptuous of Trump to a degree that transcends paranoia. Such an attitude is hardly smart given the reality that Trump has a very long memory.

TVC, I think to many Tea Party members have signed onto the conservative constitutional way with absolution and blinders. I love the constitution , and I am a conservative. But I realize the division within our country is the real enemy. Divided we shall fall.But my hope is that enough will realize that Trump is the one who can bring both sides together. But people have to want to come together.Selfish greed of their own  wants stand in the way.

I must add, that those who are the greediest. Will be the first ones under the bed when bullets start flying. Electing Cruz and his absolute harsh conservative stance on everything will never unite the masses.Even if he could win the General election. There would be total division and hatred. He will only drive the wedge deeper.
