The Dutch Tulip Bubble of 1637
The later part of the 20th century saw its share of odd financial bubbles. There was the real-estate bubble, the stock market bubbles, and the dot com bubble, just to name a few. In each instance of price inflation people paid exorbitant amounts for things that shouldn’t have been worth anything like the going price. And each time people stood around afterwards and said “What were we thinking?”
One has to believe that the same thought occurred to the Dutch in the 17th century when they settled down after their bout with tulipomania, wherein the humble tulip bulb began to sell for prices to make New York Realtors blanch.
As much as the tulip is associated with Holland, it is not native there. Rather it was introduced in 1593 by a botanist named Carolus Clusius, who brought it from Constantinople. He planted a small garden, intending to research the plant for medicinal purposes. Had Clusius’s neighbors been morally upright, the tulip might still be a rare exotic in the gardening world. Instead they broke into his garden and stole some of his bulbs in order to make some quick money, and in the process started the Dutch bulb trade

McCain is in panic mode. He is part of the scum that needs to be cleaned out of the swamp...AND HE KNOWS IT.
Anyone else find themselves hoping DT just holds a private swearing in and forgoes the pomp and exposure.
No one is going to buy the lone gunman this time and one hopes those jackals realize it.
Frankly I wouldn't go to DC without being armed and having friends at my back if even half the crap that is planned comes off. Of course DT did bring his private army back to the states last month, yeah it's there if you look. The NG General for DC is being canned at 12:01 1/20 , if that aint a clue something is up I do not know what is.
Forget normal just get the damn job done and celebrate later.
I get extremely nervous when I think of the possibility of an assassination of Trump. I am scared because I realize how bad things would get. I myself would hold all the haters responsible. The lady`s on the view would be just as guilty as the trigger person.. I think many would feel the same.
Something is in the wind no mistake about it.
TO pretend something is not a reality and refuse to act accordingly is neither wise nor brave and I see them not getting this point as the normalcy bias is strong in some people. For crying out loud they seem to be still worried about performers showing up when every kind of threat imaginable is being made by governmental and private parties. I am sure all remember who the Speaker of the House is should something untoward happen. That aint a friendly there
Of course BO just moved 3k troops into Poland so maybe WW3 makes all this moot.
We have seen this kind of crap before in other countries when the CIA gets a hard on for someone. Do we need more reminders?
I may just open a bottle of tequila, crawl in and wait out the next few days since there isnt a damn thing can be done for it here.
