In 2018, Stop the Liars and the Lies the Lying Liars Lie

Let's resolve this year to be done with the liars in Washington and stop defending the lies they spread like warm peanut butter on hot toast.  Lies like, well, anything that falls out of Sarah Sanders word-hole.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a liar by proxy for any number of White House liars, who spends her days repeating their lies or, sometimes in fits of fantasy, makes up her own lies, none of which bear any resemblance to the reality that the rest of us are living in.  The deficit is bad, needs to be reduced, the Dems must stop increasing the deficit,... ...wait.... yes, this tax bill will.....no, it will not increase the deficit by 18 trillion dollars over the average liar's lifetime as the Fake News is reporting.....

 .

She is in fact, a Liar by profession.  She gets paychecks to lie, in public, on camera, to people whose job it is to repeat her lies to us, the general public, and when she stops lying, she will be fired.   You know it, I know it, she knows it, the White House knows it.

.

Not a word of what she parrots to us is ever, ever true. If she says the president said this or that, it is not true.  She talks to the president something like never and has no clue regarding his thoughts on any topic, and is certainly lying when she is telling us that Trump meant "this" when we all heard him say "THAT!"

One must be a registered voter in order to vote Virginia.  So why don't they take them off the voter rolls if they are not eligible to vote?  Because they are not there.  Where are the cases of illegal aliens voting?  There are none.  They haven't produced a single case.

So, where did your figure of 3,000,000 undocumented aliens voting in the election come from?  It was tweeted by one Gregg Phillips, a former finance director of the Alabama Republican Party, former executive director of the Mississippi Republican Party, and one-time managing director of a super PAC that supported Newt Gingrich’s 2012 campaign for president.  But there was never any report or any evidence whatsoever to back up his claim.  Nothing.  But conservatives are still hanging on to the lie to justify their "loss".  It was a silly tweet by a former, former, former republican employee.

Where did my number of 3,000,000 more votes for clinton come from?  The actual presidential certification of votes cast, Virginia.  But my number is just a convenient round number.  The actual numbers are:

Clinton: 65,844,610   (48.2%)
Trump: 62,979,636    (46.1%)
Others: 7,804,213     (5.7%)

The precise number is 2,864,974 more votes for Clinton than Trump. But wait!  If you add in the "Others"   10,669,187 more people did NOT vote for Trump than those who did vote for him.  Or 54% of the votes cast were not for Trump.

*************************************

Bill Clinton's heart was in the right place and he wanted to do something to curb the violence, but we now know in the end, very few people were actually killed by long guns of any type.  But the answer certainly is not to throw in the towel and allow the killing of our coworkers, neighbors, family members, and children to simply go on  unabated, is it?  The public demands a response.  The children of the next generation are already demanding that our politicians take action and the politicians better be listening.  Because in 2020, those kids will be voting for our next president.  And Senators, Representatives, Mayors, etc.

So, what are you suggesting to mitigate the number of deaths due to guns, Virginia?  Unlimited mental healthcare at no cost to the patient (no copays, coinsurance, or deductibles)?  I could get behind that.  Another thing to consider might be stricter controls and background checks that would deny mental health patients from obtaining firearms.  Could you agree to that?  Maybe a federally funded mandate to have an armed police officer at the main entrance of schools and places of worship?

See?  There are plenty of things they can do, but they haven't, and they aren't doing anything now, and they probably won't do anything because they care more about NRA money than our children.  It's pretty plain and simple.  How can you allow the NRA to do this to those innocent children?

Really? I discovered my mom's name still registered last year. (She died in 2011)  And guess what, someone could have used her info. Easy, peasy. So you know as well as I, unless you have no smarts, that is what has been happening. What was really disturbing, mom had lived in 3 different counties and also lived in Texas for a few years. In Wisconsin, I tracked all of her addresses, 2 were still valid. Didn't check Texas address, though. I wonder.

That's what I'm talking about, funny girl!  The question would be, did anyone go to the trouble to vote in any of the 3 counties in 2 different states with your dead mother's name ad address and accurately copied her signature?

REALLY??  Do you really think a female undocumented immigrant would go to that much trouble to cast one vote in a national election where there was 136,628,459 votes were cast?  Wouldn't she also have to have a photo ID ??  All to cast a single vote in an election....

The thing is, Virginia, nobody did.  In fact, no one would risk being caught, prosecuted, and deported  for a single vote.   It's just ridiculous to think that.

So, did you notify anyone to take your dead mother off the voting rolls in either or both states?

Yes I did, then also tracked my Dad, my aunt and my sister - all who had passed on a few years before. AS for signatures and such, back a few years ago, the signature wasn't used and it was just one state; 3 counties within Wisconsin. (I didn't track the Texas address.)

I should also mention that my mom and several other senior citizen voters were transported to the polls from Sun Prairie back in 2008. While on the run, they were inundated with Democratic talking points as they rode along.  Later, my mom told me she voted straight ticket, then later discovered she voted for one person she did not like. She never rode the bus again.  Drove herself.

As for answer to your remark - yes there were several persons caught voting twice, several voted after being given cigarettes, for crumbs sake, in Madison. One gal voted 6 times, in 6 different counties. Great job. And oh, when they tried to recall Scott Walker, right here in my home county, there were more Illinois license plates at my voting site than Wisconsin plates. Guess what, Mazomanie only has 640 residents.  For shame Illinois.

In Tennessee, my brother-in-law mentioned that they discovered illegal voters. Wonder how they got the incentive to try to do that.  And they were not deported or jailed - just reprimanded.

Virginia, being wise you already know this but anyway.

Engaging in a urinary contest w/ this Amnesia Case is pointless.

Firstly, the label is wrong as amnesia denotes memory loss but you can only lose something you previously had, such as a brain w/an IQ.

This is an embittered, humorless and unhinged site crank w/the grammar and syntax of a

pre-schooler, addicted to relentless blather while consumed by radical left rage and incapable of either pause or reflection.

Simply a tapestry of anger and despair.

True enough, but I'm bored, and husband's TV watching is not my thing. Then there is Ferdinand Furball, a very sick cat, age 21; and he cries when he gets lost, or hungry. Turns around in circles, so I'm trying to be close enough for him to find his food, and bed, and, of course, the litter box. He doesn't seem to be in pain, though.

And second, my husband is also in a bit of a funk - he has been diagnosed with Congestive heart failure. And he wants constant attention - even if he seems to be doing great. Guess like the cat, personal attention is a must.

So interaction with a person willing to prove something, is a challenge and interesting.

Fair enough.

Thomas,

This is a classical personal attack that you posted

This is not tolerated on the site. Do not do it again. If you do, I will be forced to suspend you.

Fair enough.

--------------

A reflection w/o apology.

In the decade prior to the French Revolution, Christophe de Beaumont,

Archbishop of Paris, observed the increasing public rage openly expressed

by those of the left against the Catholic Church and the Monarchy.

He noted that in earlier decades, fear of consequence would have prevented

such behavior but that fear had evaporated by 1780.

This reminds of our current malaise where the left can say whatever is wants,

claiming the right to speak freely, w/o consequence, and when called out, gin

up a titanic uproar of alleged unfairness.

Some insist that this is the price of freedom for all. Really???

Others believe that the balm is patience as they will see the light in time. Hm...........

Still others insist good manners is the mark of gentlemen and a prerequisite of debate?

On the contrary, the necessary response is fear and always has been; a cold reality the ancients understood in their very marrow and which is why they persevered for thousands of years.

We have become pious and sanctimonious embarrassments to such a  degree that our Founders would not even know who we are.

Calling a spade a spade is neither bad manners nor a provocative challenge; rather it's

unambiguously identifying who you are and where you stand; so neither friend nor foe misunderstands.

Thomas:
Very well put. You are correct. When we call out the left or blame them, they raise a tantrum, and use their huge megaphone (the press) to raise and shame everyone else. That's the problem I see with our Republican leaders: they are scared of the left; they would wet their pants if NYT or WashPost called them racist on the front page.

We cannot sacrifice our principles and civil behavior for the price of freedom, or else it won't last. And we already see the freedom of speech limited by the left who can't stand opposite views. Necessary response is fear? Well, not everyone can be as brave as Virginia; but everyone is still safe in the voting booth.

You referred to someone "consumed by the radical left rage". Well, if we aren't allowed to say this any more - especially in the thread where the conservatives, Tea Party followers and Trump voters are directly and unapologeticaly called liars (see the title of this thread) - then perhaps we should fold our tents and give up this country to them.

Thomas,

This is not 1780, it's a discussion forum. I expect every member to use respectful common civility. that's all.

The rolls are not correct and probably have never been correct. A Personal bit; My son originally was registered to vote in my State 20 years ago. He moved to California and registered out there. When I go to vote I still find him listed as a registered voter in my State even though I have reported the fact he no longer lives here and so has he. They still have not removed him from the rolls ( he was a registered Democrat here) I wonder how many more there are. Take a certain precinct in Ohio that had OVER 100% of it's population vote, really more votes than people. How is it possible to get more votes than there are registered voters?

While I personally can not attest to anything other than my son's registration foul up,

Here are some links to more votes than voters;

https://www.politicususa.com/2016/11/26/election-fraud-complaint-fi...

https://www.redstate.com/aarongardner/2012/09/04/colorado-counties-...

http://www.politifact.com/ohio/statements/2012/nov/19/we-people-pet...   It was found that; In one county alone in Ohio, which was a battleground state, President Obama received 106,258 votes. But there were only 98,213 eligible voters. It's not humanly possible to get 108 percent of the vote!"

http://www.ibtimes.com/2016-election-results-detroit-machines-regis...  Voting machines in over one-third of Detroit precincts registered more ballots cast in the Nov. 8 presidential election than the number of voters tallied by poll workers, the Detroit News reported Tuesday.

Here is a link that was updated Feb 2017 where you can check the final tally of all the States Presidential Election Results; https://www.nytimes.com/elections/results/california
