The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
>
Lets take this apart;
Right To Bear ARMS; This must be broken down into two parts, the right to Bear, and the word ARMS. These words had specific meanings to the People and Founders who had just fought a bloody Revolutionary War. Right To Bear; meant the people were allowed to own and carry their own ARMS without hindrance by the Government. There is a hidden meaning to the Word ARMS, that somehow has been covered over and hidden since then, by what we now call Liberals IMHO.
>
Arms; Definitions from the era when the Constitutions Second Amendment was created. It Expands the Meaning & Intent of what the Founders meant, when they specifically used the Word 'ARMS'. This transcends & expands the modern definition Justices and Politicians place on the Word 'ARMS'. The definition of "ARMS" in a period dictionary and in the minds of the Founders and Citizens meant ALL MILITARY WEAPONS. So in effect the Founders decided the American people could arm themselves with any weapon the military had.

If any Liberal decides to state that Repeating Rifles and Machine Guns didn't exist, and the Founders were only talking about Flintlock single shot muskets/Rifles, they are in for a rude awakening. These are types they had during the Revolutionary War. How about the Cookson repeater 1690.The Kalthoff repeater 1600's, The Belton repeating musket 100 ordered by Washington/Congress, Puckle gun 1718, Nordenfelt 10 barrel rifle-caliber machine gun 1783. Didn't know about those or they were deliberately hiding the references to them for their political agendas. The Gun Grabbers also complain Loudly about the Founders never meant to allow Assault Weapons to get into the hands of the people. That is ludicrous. Every Weapon used by the military could be considered an Assault Weapon even a flintlock. The Founders were not afraid of Law Abiding Americans owning any military weapon based on the that ERA's definition of ARMS. So, Why are todays Democratic/Socialists so afraid of us?
>
State Militias; The definition of Militia based on it's common usage from that time period meant all physically fit men from 15 to 48 years old. In effect that made the entire population the Militia and any regulation thought necessary was the responsibility of the States to decide instead of the Federal Government. Federal Government Politicians have changed the meanings and legal definitions over the decades, on their own recognizance, to mean something else. Something which that would bolster their agendas to disarm the public. Those definitions go directly against the Constitution. Massive Federal Government, was one of the greatest fears of the Anti-Federalists.
>
The general consensus of that time was; Armies were used to suppress Citizens, and the Federal Government should only be allowed to raise paid armies when faced by an enemy. They believed that the States Governments should use Militias, basically citizens armed with their own weapons for all other purposes.
>
Well - Regulated Militia; This used to mean the States were responsible for training the men, and the men of that period were expected to own and use their own firearms. Since then, the Federal Government has unilaterally changed it's meaning, to create the National Guard right after the Civil War. This says something about the Three words in the 14th Amendment "No State Shall", those words were put into the Amendment, specifically to stop the South from reversing the citizenship and voting rights of Freed Black Americans, but have subsequently been used to create Anchor Babies and other things that amendment was never intended to do. See; http://www.14thamendment.us/amendment/14th_amendment.html to see what the originators of that Amendment intended it to do and what they did not intend it to do.
>
Infringed; We now come to another word with specific meaning to the Founders and the Citizens of that period. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines Infringe as;
: to encroach upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another.
: an encroachment or trespass on a right or privilege.
: to commit a breach or infraction of; violate or transgress
So according to the definitions from the time period that the Founders would have used, they and the public would have understood without interpretation being needed.
>
Therefore; Every Law that's been passed against guns and other weapons, since the Ratification of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, has UNCONSTITUTIONALLY INFRINGED on those specific protections the 2nd Amendment granted. The politicians saying it's to protect people is a line of HORSE SH*T, and they know it. It's to protect them from angered and/or abused citizens who would finally come after them, to end the excesses they have rained down on us.
