Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic
I know so many of us have had enough of waking up to yet another example of how Debbie Wasserman Schultz is abusing her position in ways that undermine the Democratic Party -- and our democracy -- from the inside.
This time, it’s the Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention refusing to release the names of the donors who are funding the convention for the DNC.
It is rumored that the major contributors consist of anti-Obamacare lobbyists and Republican businessman, which would not only be deeply embarrassing to President Obama, but to all Democrats.
And when asked why they weren’t releasing the names of their donors, the head of the Host Committee essentially told the press yesterday that progressive activists like us should “just be patient” and learn to trust them.
I don’t know about you, but I am done trusting a pro-corporate establishment that is blatantly trying to cover their tracks before they get caught. If you are too, please make a contribution of $3 to help us defeat Debbie Wasserman Schultz this summer:
Time and again, the establishment in Washington has sold out working Americans in exchange for millions of dollars in contributions. This is just another example of their greed.
Let me be clear — there is an explicit connection between the DNC’s failure to introduce a real progressive platform and their refusal this week to release the names of these donors. They are trying to cover their tracks as they have once again sold us out to the highest bidder.
How much longer are we going to tolerate this? We must together rise up and reclaim the Democratic Party.
Let’s join together to reform our party. Thank you for everything.
In solidarity,
Tim Canova

Friends,
The political revolution is not just about electing a president. We need a Congress with members who believe, like Bernie, that we cannot change a corrupt system by taking its money.
So let me introduce you to Tim Canova, a progressive challenger who is running against Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz in a Democratic primary in Florida this year.
