We The People USA

Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

I have heard many out there, from pundits to the average Joe asking "Why We Lost". I have heard this from Democrats of all parts of the spectrum as well as many so called Republicans, so I will effort to answer this question.

I have heard all kinds of explanations, from misreading polling data, to angry white men, and they're all wrong. The question now is where to begin. There are a plethora of places to start so lets begin with the Democratic Party.

First lets dispel a little misconception, it is the Democratic party that supported slavery, while the republicans supported civil rights, the Democratic party supported segregation, it was a Democrat Colonel that started the KKK as a Military wing of the Democratic party in the south, targeting not just any random black individual but aspiring black political figures and the Republicans that supported them, this is Historical fact, not supposition, look it up in any history book. What does this have to do with today? The secret to understanding this question is understanding the Democrat party never abandoned slavery, they merely molded it into a 21 century version based on economics instead of race, you see the economics based slavery is so much less messy than slavery based on race, creed or sex. This is where it gets messy, because many of what we call "establishment" Republicans have followed the lead of their left side counterparts and joined the ranks of what are now called the "elites". These elites are both Democrat and Republicans now that feel their "high education" allows them the privilege of telling others how to live their lives, "We know better better because were educated" is often the explanation. Ironically this could not be farther from the truth, education does not denote intelligence, just ask anyone who live in a college town, they will explain. Is this not the same position as the slave master directing the slave? They take from the fruits of your labor to distribute what they decide is equitable, don't pay what they decide is a fair portion and they hunt you down and take what they feel is  theirs, and they now tell you what you must spend your money on, because they know better. Set aside ownership documentation and this explanation fits the everyday lives of every working american, and none suffer worse than the working poor, who merely sit in wait for the day when then their small gains toward financial independence are taxed away from them. The Democrats pander to minority's, promising them hope, the establishment republicans pander to the independent business owner promising them hope, all the while both figuring how to take as much as they can of what you have to feed their own greed and keep you slaving to provide them with more.

Why did Trump win? College educated or not, hes a brawling street kid, like most of the working poor in America, and those middle Americans are tired of being told to shut up and take it. Will he deliver?Only time will tell.

For all those who want to keep bringing social issue`s to the forefront. Trump will not bite on the foolish divisive issues that have gotten in the way for so long. His administration will do what is needed to MAGA without getting sideswiped by those looking to distract.Trump`s administration will empower States to take charge of legalities of social issues. As they should. That is my opinion of course. Trump has a country to run. Not a baby sitting clinic.

Why am I not surprised it is you who would comment first lol, long time no see :)

Hey Fred. How have you been.

Hey Kevin, Busy busy busy, work work and more work, thought I might throw this out there to see if anyone is listening lol.

It is emphatically true that education credentials have absolutely nothing to do w/achievement, creativity, intelligence and wisdom.

Consider Euclid, Archimedes, Pericles, Sophocles, Aristotle, Plato, Cicero, Aurelius,Virgil, Michelangelo, Mozart; to name but a handful.

Imagine how deprived they were w/o the degrees of we moderns?????

As for the election, both Democrats and Republicans lost because they are the face of the political establishment which average voters rejected; opting for transformative leadership.

So let us see what evolves!

Thomas:
I agree with you strongly. But I differentiate between the terms "education" and "education credentials".

Finishing college with a degree does not make you educated, but it does give you the credentials. To me "educated" means a person who has observed a lot, read a lot, listened a lot, gathered a lot of information, learned how to store it in his brain, and finally knows how to connect the dots. Having accomplished a lot helps even more. And if you have the above AND the credenditals, then you are really on top of the heap.

But not even then, it will not help you to think of the unthinkable or unthought-of: like, composing music, or inventing software, or painting beautiful original paintings
I follow NYT and their commenters daily. Oh so many have the credentials yet are so uneducated. And those are typically who flaunt their degrees in front of your nose. You may be shocked: I don't consider Obama educated, but having rather good credentials. Libs say he was professor; he was not; he was merely a lecturer in consitutional law, merely a guy who read the books and was able to explain their content to young students. Graduate schools employ many such lecturers.

And every Trump voter I know is certainly more educated than most commenters in NYT.

Fair enough, Marrand.

Listening to assorted media types, I'm reminded of Bernard, Archbishop of Chartres, in the 12th century; who asserted that:

"We are mere dwarves who stand on the massive shoulders of the giants of antiquity; and only see as far as we do because of them."

The hallmark of modernism is its unrelenting hubris and beyond ignorant conceit that we are the greatest; an assertion so embarrassingly preposterous as to beg the question of the sanity of its water carriers.

As a result, credentials have supplanted intelligence, notoriety replaced achievement and brain dead yip-yap is now called wisdom.

Consider the century commencing in 1914. I assert it was and remains the most disastrous in the history of Man since Creation and the true face of modernism.

They lost because the Hillary and her campaign manager along with the DNC never believed they could lose Wisconsin,Michigan,Pennsylvania and Ohio. Given that mistake and about 3 million democrat voters falling into the same trap and stayed home thinking this election was in the bag.

No Jack,

The Democrats lost because of the duplicity of the Clintons, the Foreign money from Islamic Countries, The political agendas, Soros interference and the Verified and now being prosecuted Voter Fraud they used. Example; Pennsylvania having 782 more ballots for Hillary returned for count than were distributed, and that verified by the Democratic Poll tally's. Verification of Soros owned or controlled machines that were pulled when they switched votes to Hillary. over 100,000 ballots filled out for Hillary found in Ohio before any were distributed was verified. I could go no but Trump Won, end of story unless you start counting the ongoing attacks against him to discredit him even before he's Inaugurated as President. I expect that will continue and escalate as long as there is not a Democrat in office.

M, it will continue. The NWO bilderberg elite have many years and money invested in their One World Project. The European Union is pulling apart. And now Trump kicked them right in the teeth. They will try and start WW3 to help their cause. The Bilderberg elite inner circle has a God complex that will lead to much problems. We need to defeat them BIG LEAGUE....The devil is a crafty Bastard ...

It really doesn't matter what either of us think why Hillary lost, M. The election is over and the democrats will continue to lose national elections unless they learn their lesson. There are about 10 states in the nation that matter when it comes to national elections. The other 40 states mean nothing when planning an election strategy. The democrats took for granted 6 of the 10 key states and ended up losing all six.

That is the real Problem Jack,

Every State should have an equal say. Say 3 Electoral votes for every State. The winner getting 2 votes and the 2nd place getting 1 vote. Doing that would make everyone's vote count, and California and New York could not dominate the election
