M,

I can't stand the VIEW and therefore, never watch it.

That said, I went down the list you judiciously provided at great effort, and regretfully, I do not patronize any of those sponsors except for Marriott an VISA.  I have no plans to stay at a Marriott in the foreseeable future and as for VISA, how does one boycott their credit card?   But best of all, I don't have a Facebook Account so I can't join that group.

You may wonder why, but it's simple.  It used to be nothing more that what I called "feel-good bull sh** " like "here's a photo of me at the beach, me having a cocktail, me on vacation at Disney, here's the sumptuous dinner I cooked" like their life is so good and your isn't but you want to ask where is the mug shot of your kid, or where's the picture of the person your spouse was with at the motel ?

Then more recently, friends would send me the most ridiculous political stories and I would ask, "Do you really believe this drivel?  Do you EVER look anything up, or attempt to corroborate anything before you send it along as if it is TRUE?  Because it isn't true and you've sent this to how many other people?  Now how stupid are you?"

Then they get angry like I was rude for questioning their good intentions - like, why would I even question the well-known fact that Hillary Clinton is running a child sex ring out of the back room of a pizza joint??  And it wasn't even a Papa Johns, for God's sake!

Then, when you find out about the Russians and their troll-factory, you begin to understand that people will believe anything, and I mean ANYTHING, without question, if it fits their ideology - if it fits their perception of reality, no matter how absurd it may be.  So, I stay away from the face book.

T,

The point is to call them and complain saying you are going to boycott them. If 100 people call in about the same issue complaining they will look into it to see if it's valid. Just like calling your representative, it has been determined if fifty people call in with complaints about some bill or legislation those complaints will be passed on to the representatives chief of staff who will evaluate them and decide to pass them along to the rep. A better way to get action from a Rep is to have ten people salted around the next town hall meeting they hold and all complain about whatever is the issue you want looked at or corrected.

Wrote a letter to Busch about the kneeling at the football games. Told them then that we would not ever buy any more of their product, and are sharing our concerns with family members, friends and co-workers. . (Don't anyway, but what the heck.) I got a letter from them 3 weeks later, it didn't really say much, other than they would consider the actions. So!  Worth a try for calls, letters and such to some of the other advertisers. As for the View, I'm not even interested in watching TV, let alone something so biased and nasty.  Hubby likes some TV, but he flips past the View - also flips past every channel (we don't have cable) then back again. Get dizzy watching. Good thing I'm busy with other things ,or have a good book to read.

I have called Ford several times, - their new vehicles stink. I want the 1996 Ford Explorer Sport, stick shift back. None of the others are worth having. As for Hyundai, I have my mom's car, - it also is a very sad car.  So yeah, those I can boycott too. So boycott. All of them  I've printed off the list - no promises (except Ford, and Hyundai, but will try the others as time permits.) I really find The View to be worthless. I'd also like to know where they stand on the gun control issues.
