BELOW IS A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF GREAT LAKES GUN RIGHTS’ AREAS OF FOCUS FOR 2021.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND GLGR IS DEPENDENT ON YOUR GENEROSITY TO PUT THESE PLANS INTO ACTION.

STOP ANTI-GUN EXECUTIVE ORDERS:
With the Governor strong-arming the Capitol Commission in an attempt to bypass the legislature, GLGR must push back against “Queen” Gretchen’s “royal decrees.” The more they are forced to spend defending their radical agenda, the harder it will be to push more of it!

EXPOSING ANTI-GUN POLITICIANS:
Republican Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey already shirked his duties to gun owners by backing the ban on open carry in the Capitol. What else will he cave on? With Republican leadership caving to Gretchen’s pressure, we will need to use every tool in our arsenal to hold Michigan politicians accountable to gun owners in the state. Great Lakes Gun Rights needs your help to rain Holy Fire on every so-called “conservative” who even thinks about trading away your right to self-defense to appease the Gun Control Lobby.

REPEAL THE PISTOL REGISTRATION SCHEME:
The grotesque pistol registration scheme that predates similar laws in the anti-gun bastions of New York and Hawaii! The supporters of this unconstitutional system strangle gun owners with red tape and fines just to make a buck for the government. Unbelievably, exercising your constitutional right to carry without first jumping through the bureaucratic hoops required to obtain a Concealed Pistol License is punished MORE severely than physically assaulting a police officer.

PASS CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY:
Passing Constitutional Carry will restore law-abiding Michiganders’ right to carry a handgun without begging for a government-issued permission slip. With 18 other states already exercising Constitutional Carry as the law of the land, Michigan is long overdue to catch up. Montana and Utah both passed Constitutional Carry legislation just in February of this year. Isn’t it time Michiganders had the same freedom?
