Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic
Seems cops are having a bad rep lately. Seems a shame because most of them are hardworking caring members of the community. Notice - I mentioned community. Well, one town tried to overcome some of the problems with anti-cop, violence against others, and crimes.
They selected cops from with an specific area, set them up within that community, and turned them loose. The community was responsible for interacting with the cop and his/her family, and work to reduce crime. Of course, the officers were also under the police department rules, but when the community noticed their police officer walking or driving around their community, there was a feeling of safety and reaching out.
And it worked. Now, with illegals being dumped on these same communities, the cops are being hog-tied. The citizens no longer fell protected and unfortunately, the police officers are blamed for not doing their job.
You know, I saw it working in Madison, WI a long time ago. But you won't see it now. Too bad, because it was a great feeling to be able to walk around the city, and know you were being protected. Now, you don't dare even get out of your car, unless you have several people around. That's why we no longer live in Madison, nor do we shop there. Too scary.
