All, please evaluate this link. This person, Van Irion, is in the process of filing a class action suit against the federal gov't regarding 'Obamacare'. It may be a forlorn hope as precedents would have to be reevaluated. It might put you on a Nixon-style enemies' list. I'm signing on.

Dear Members,

I just received notice that NING's new CEO is phasing out the FREE Platform this Network is currently hosted on. (see post below) This means that, myself, and other NING Network creators, who over the years, have put in thousands of hours to build their Networks and grow their memberships will be forced to pay to save their Networks or, presumably, their Networks will be deleted.

Unfortunately, I know that many of you are very active on this Network and many local groups use the group feature to coordinate action locally. I have also painstakingly created a huge resource center on this site which I know may of you frequently use, along with the Forum section and blog feature.

This leads me to only one choice, I will have to......please copy and paste this link into your browser's search bar to continue reading. http://wethepeopleusa.ning.com/profiles/blogs/please-read-this-impo...

Greetings Everyone,

PLEASE click the link below to CAPS, and BOOKMARK, this site list all of the current Bills, Acts in Congress, and provides protest petition, in the form of emails, faxes, and letters. You can scroll down the list, click and send a petition for each, the site is “Californians For Population Stabilization”, you do not have to be from California to send petitions, and you do not have to be a member either. WELL worth checking out, I’m pretty sure that if you do, you will visit site on a regular basis.

Jerry Dean,

You are 100% correct!

If we keep saying OMG to every issue that arises, and trying to stop 0bama at every turn, we will be spread so thin as to be totally ineffective.

And that is exactly why nothing has worked so far.

We must stop this immediately and come together to win elections. We could change the balance in 2010 if we wanted to but it must start now.

Failure to do this very soon will be disastrous. I'm not sure the country will survive until 2012.

My comment of a few minutes ago addresses the need to form a group that focuses on the 2010 elections. If we don't 't do that BO will. If we lose more seats in the Congress and the Senate, we may well be lost for a generation or more.

We must use our State Groups as catalysts and resources for this task. We can do this. The idea of this is to develop a targeted group of people who will work on one thing - winning in 2010.

We need to move out Barak (MOB)!

I may be mistaken, but addressing the notion of winning the 2010 elections is of paramount importance. Why?That is not difficult to explain. Here is what depends on winning, and changing the current balance of power in Washington. (Do not think for a moment that BO's team is not also aware of what is at stake. They will be ruthless.)

Here is what we will face (not necessarily in order of importance) as Americans if we lose more seats in the House and Senate in 2010:

More Economic Stimuli & a bankrupt country.
More Unionization of the work force
More illegal immigration.
More Taxes
More Gun Control
More Abortions
More joining of the Arab-Eastern-European countries in a moderate bloc
More dilution of our military power
More of our best military people leaving the services
More Socialism
More Totalitarianism
More FEMA Camps
More liberal education systems - translates to no education
More government health care - translates to destroying a great system
More unemployment
More loss of sovereignty in the banking and other industries
More foreign investments in our bonds to pay for all the new programs.
More chance of losing our culture permanently

and Finally

More and more rabid attacks on our Constitution.

Have I forgotten anything?

Freedom is only worth having if you and your loved ones are alive to enjoy it. We will lose more of our freedoms if we cannot find a way to put aside our own partisan interests and fight to elect more conservative Republicans in 2010.

For those of you old, or interested enough, in the Manhattan Project, we need the election of 2010 equivalent of that, and we need it now.

People:

We have to stop the "Oh my God, the sky is falling" talk starting here. Get it together. Let's attack one thing at a time. This is a gun control group. Let's start there. The FEMA camps or anything else needs to be targeted by a group specific to that problem. If we do not do this, we are falling right into the hands of the Leftists who want total control. They divide us, they causes us to go in multiple directions, and guess what? They win!

Here is a list of the representatives on the sub-committee that will hear the Blair Holt Bill. (Courtesy of Jane Q. Republican)

Robert Scott, Chairman, Virginia
Pedro Pierluisi, Puerto Rico
Jerrold Nadler, New York
Zoe Lofgren, California
Sheila Jackson Lee, Texas (tx18@mail.house.gov)
Maxine Waters, California
Steve Cohen, Tennessee
Anthony Weiner, New York
Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Florida
Louie Gohmert, Ranking Member, Texas
Ted Poe, Texas
Bob Goodlatte, Virginia
Dan Lungren, California
Randy Forbes, Virginia
Tom Rooney, Florida

My suggestion; Let’s target each of these people. We can organize this group - as well as any other - in such a way that Resistnet members from committee member's states send letters, emails, and call the offices. In addition to the specific representative's office target the Subcommittee itself.

In addition we can divide our number - approximately 1000 - to bombard members with communications of all types. At this point, that would mean that approximately 150 members here would communicate with each committee member.

We have quite a bit on our side: The Constitution, numbers (64,000,000 + gun owners, 64 million gun owner's families and friends, etc. While I do not have a number for the total, I imagine that about 90,000,000 Americans are involved with guns in one way or another. (If someone here has a number that would be great.)

I am in CA, so will write letters, send emails and call the offices. I also intend to send these same letters to any representative that I can think of other than those on the subcommittee.

The objective is simple. We need to defeat this bill. We can do this with numbers. Numbers translate to votes, or potential votes. Each letter is seen as possibly representing 10 voters who did not write or call. All of us know that the primary job of all politicians is being reelected. Angry electorates stop that from happening. We must convince these people that we will not stand for any diminution of our Second amendment rights.

I suggest that anything written have the following somewhere in the letter or note:

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”

Let’s face it, we are the militia.

Regards

Jerry Dean
