Dems "Reject Family Separation Fix", So They Can “Embarrass” Trump.
6/20/18
“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” — Rahm Emanuel, former chief of staff to President barry obuma.
In a news story published Tuesday by The Hill headlined “Schumer rejects GOP proposal to address border crisis,” the writer included this paragraph: “Asked if that meant Democrats would not support a bill backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to keep immigrant families together while seeking asylum on the U.S. border, Schumer said they want to keep the focus on Trump.”
“Keep the focus on Trump?” That’s right, Schumer doesn’t want to solve the problem! — he’d rather just “keep the focus on Trump.”
In a news story published Tuesday by The Hill headlined "Schumer rejects GOP proposal to address border crisis," the writer included this paragraph: "Asked if that meant Democrats would not support a bill backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to keep immigrant families together while seeking asylum on the U.S. border, Schumer said they want to keep the focus on Trump."
Schumer, who has bashed Trump at every turn and has repeatedly declared that Congress — not the president — should take this action or that, now suddenly wants to defer to Trump. He claims Congress simply can't solve the problem, but Trump, with the stroke of a pen, can.
“There are so many obstacles to legislation and when the president can do it with his own pen, it makes no sense,” Schumer told reporters after he rejected a GOP legislative proposal on Tuesday that would fix the border separation issue. “Legislation is not the way to go here when it’s so easy for the president to sign it.”
Asked if he'd wait a long time before taking action, Schumer said, "Let’s hope we never get to that. Let’s hope the president does the right thing and solves the problem, which he can do. That’s the simple, easiest and most likely way this will happen."
Trump has repeatedly said Congress should solve the problem, as has Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, who on Monday told reporters,
“Congress alone can fix it.”
McConnell said Tuesday that he wanted the Senate to take up the bill immediately so they could put a permanent fix in place that would stop families from being separated at the border. “We hope to reach out to the Democrats to see if we can get a result,” he said. “Which means making a law and not get into some sparring match back and forth that leads to no conclusion.”
Twitter caught fire after the report in The Hill.
"Top Senate Dem preemptively comes out against all GOP proposals on family separation issue. “Schumer said they want to keep the focus on Trump.” Guy Benson
"Gee it’s almost like they’d rather have a political issue they can wield against GOP than actually fix the problem." Ian Essling
But suddenly, Schumer says Congress is ineffectual and simply unable to fix the problem.
Makes so much sense now that he's the leader of Senate Democrats, doesn't it?
Rejecting compromise solutions looks cynical amid humanitarian crisis.
Is this about the kids, or Trump?

Alaska hiker found dead after apparent bear attack, police say.
20 hours ago By Paulina Dedaj | Fox News
Michael Soltis, 44, was last seen Monday evening in the area of Hiland road in Anchorage where police he say he went for a hike.
The search for a missing man in Alaska ended Wednesday when he was found dead in the woods, likely because of a bear attack, police said.
Michael Soltis, 44, last was seen Monday evening in the area of Hiland Road in Anchorage where police say he went for a hike.
At approximately 10:32 a.m. Wednesday, a volunteer searching for Soltis was attacked by a brown bear near the same area last he was seen. The unidentified volunteer was taken to a hospital, and is expected to survive.
Shortly after the attack, Anchorage police entered the woods where they located Soltis who they say died as a result of a bear attack.
“It appears the brown bear was protecting the body when it attacked a member of the search party,” police said in a statement.
The animal was not immediately found, and authorities were asking people to stay away from the wooded area.
“We believe the bear that attacked the volunteer was the same one that attacked and killed the missing man,” police spokesman MJ Thim said.
Authorities removed Soltis’ body, and posted bear warning signs on a small footpath leading from the road to the woods.
Alaska Fish and Game spokesman Ken Marsh said agency representatives were investigating at the site to determine whether the bear attack was predatory or a defensive action, such as guarding bear cubs or a food cache like a dead animal.

Melania Trump's 'I really don't care' jacket causes stir on border visit.
6/20/18 By Samuel Chamberlain/Fox News
Melania Trump 'I really don't care' jacket raises eyebrows.
First Lady Melania Trump paid a visit to a Texas facility housing migrant children separated from their parents. On her way to her plane she donned a jacket that said 'I really don't care, Do u?' on the back. This is not the first time Trump's fashion has been at the center of controversy.
First lady Melania Trump's visit to a Texas facility housing migrant children separated from their parents threatened to be overshadowed Thursday by a jacket she wore bearing the words: "I really don't care, do u?"
The first lady was pictured wearing the jacket as she boarded a flight to the border at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. She wore the same jacket when she departed the aircraft after returning to the D.C. area Thursday evening.
The Daily Mail reported that the army green anorak-style jacket came from Spain-based retailer Zara and could be bought for $39. It was not available online as of Thursday afternoon.
The first lady wore a different pale yellow jacket when the plane landed in McAllen, Texas, for a visit to the Upbring New Hope Children's Center, which houses 55 migrant children.
When contacted for comment, spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said in an email: "It's a jacket. There was no hidden message. After today's important visit to Texas, I hated that the media chose to focus on her wardrobe. (Much like her high heels last year)."
Grisham was referencing Melania Trump's decision to wear stiletto heels this past August when she and her husband traveled to Houston in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Her footwear prompted mockery on social media, though she changed into sneakers before she left Air Force One.
Later Thursday afternoon, Grisham tweeted: Today's visit with the children in Texas impacted the first lady greatly. If the biased media would spend their time & energy on her actions & efforts to help kids - rather than speculate & focus on her wardrobe - we could get so much accomplished on behalf of children." Grisham added the hashtags "She Cares!" and "It's Just A Jacket".
In previous public appearances, the first lady has worn designs by Dolce & Gabbana, Del Pozo, Christian Dior, Emilio Pucci, Givenchy and Valentino, often with daringly high Christian Louboutin heels.
*** "I really don't care, do u?" *** LOL

Anti-Trump Mayor Allegedly Facing Corruption Probe.
6/18/18
The mayor of Puerto Rico who shot to international fame after criticizing President Trump for not doing enough to help Hurricane Maria victims is being investigated by the FBI on corruption charges, according to multiple news outlets.
San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz and her administration are under fire for allegedly obstructing critical supplies from reaching victims of the category-4 hurricane that leveled much of the tiny U.S. territory nearly nine months ago.
The FBI reportedly launched the investigation following a February lawsuit filed by Yadira Molina, the former director of procurement. Molina claims she was retaliated against for reporting “alleged irregular acts” to the local comptroller.
“On February 21, Molina sued the city council after reporting alleged acts of corruption in the shopping division in the town hall under the administration of Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz Soto,” according to El Vocero de Puerto Rico.

“On February 21, Molina sued the city council after reporting alleged acts of corruption in the shopping division in the town hall under the administration of Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz Soto,” according to El Vocero de Puerto Rico.
“She comes out, goes on television and pats herself on the back."
Simon Menendez, small business owner in San Juan
The report says Molina claims she was punished for reporting on the allegedly rigged system and that she was blocked from her right “to report wrongdoing in her capacity as a private citizen, not as a public employee.”
Shortly after Cruz became mayor, Molina claims a supply company was granted “preferred supplier” status which paid them more than three times what regular suppliers made. She also alleges that other city officials engaged in a corrupt scheme to steer business the preferred supplier’s way.
Concerns about Cruz are not new. There has been a growing backlash from frustrated residents who say they feel forgotten and say the mayor’s personal political ambitions are coming at the expense of the very people she’s supposed to be representing.

For example, at a time when residents needed food, water and shelter, Cruz hired extra photographers to follow her around post-storm.
“She comes out, goes on television and pats herself on the back,” Simon Menendez, a small business owner in San Juan, told Fox News. “It stopped being about 'us' a long time ago.”
A bartender at a popular hotel in Old San Juan told Fox she feels like a political pawn. But complaints from constituents are largely being ignored.
Instead, Cruz’s feud with the president over recovery efforts have turned her into a liberal star – and it’s a role she seems to be relishing. Her global close-up has morphed into a parade of self-promotion.
She’s showed up on numerous television shows – including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert – and scored a high-profile invite to the State of the Union as the guest of New York Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.
She was also featured on Time magazine as one of the most influential people of 2018.
Last month, she traveled to Connecticut to receive the “Latina Champion” award at the Latinas & Power Symposium, which promotes Hispanic professional women.
She then went on to Boston to receive an honorary doctorate and give the baccalaureate address at Boston University.
Back home in Puerto Rico, officials say the island remains in desperate need of help and is woefully unprepared should another storm hit soon. Among other things, there is little to no water or diesel fuel for generators. This year’s hurricane season started June 1.
A new Harvard University study published in the New England Journal of Medicine estimates the number of people who died in Puerto Rico as the result of Maria could top 4,600. The official number issued by the U.S. territory is 64.
Multiple attempts to reach Cruz were unsuccessful.
FBI spokesman Carlos Osorio told Fox News that “FBI San Juan, neither confirms nor denies the existence of investigations.”

Antifa Sets Sights On ICE Agents, Spreads Agents Personal Information.
6/20/18
Antifa, a violent, anti-fascist group, tweeted out a list of over 1,500 Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents’ identities.
The Twitter account “nebraska antifa” sent out a tweet to its followers on Tuesday that linked to the personal information of ICE officers compiled from information found on LinkedIn.
“Some enterprising asshole archived the ICE employees listed on linkedin,” the tweet reads.
Antifa, a violent, so-called anti-fascist group, tweeted out a list of over 1,500 Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents’ identities.
The Twitter account “nebraska antifa” sent out a tweet to its followers on Tuesday that linked to the personal information of ICE officers compiled from information found on LinkedIn.
“Some enterprising asshole archived the ICE employees listed on linkedin,” the tweet reads.
A Twitter user who goes by Sam Lavigne compiled the list of ICE agents’ identities, titles and locations. In a tweet on Tuesday morning he says he “scraped LinkedIn for people that work for ICE.”
The Medium link in Lavigne’s was no longer available as of Tuesday night.
While the original post of ICE personal information has been removed, the Antifa Twitter account linked to an archived post, where viewers can access the Lavigne’s original database.
Lavigne created the database in response to ICE’s “inhumane” efforts in on the border, according to his archived Medium post.
“I’ve downloaded and made available the profiles of (almost) everyone on LinkedIn who works for ICE, 1,595 people in total. While I don’t have a precise idea of what should be done with this data set, I leave it here with the hope that researchers, journalists, and activists will find it useful,” Lavigne wrote on Medium.
The Medium post spread to r/ChapoTrapHouse on Reddit, a subgroup for a podcast made up of far-left activists who encourage doxxing those who they deem Nazis and alt-right. Some users appear to consider ICE and National Security Agency employees Nazis.
One reddit user said “Dox more Nazis” on the thread.
Doxxing is spreading individuals’ personal information such as where they work, their names, addresses, or contact information.
“Doxxing ICE agents is good and moral,” another user wrote on the Reddit post.
Lavigne also tweeted a screenshot of the personal Twitter account of ICE’s chief technology officer the day after Father’s Day, which included a picture of the official with his son.
There have been a number of reports of Antifa’s violence and the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI classifies the group as a terrorist organization. One example illustrates the group’s attack on individuals at a University of Mexifornia, Berkeley campus protest in August 2017.
In several video clips, Antifa members are recorded assaulting individuals they described as being right-wing nationalists and alt-right. Department of Homeland Security documents have shown that Antifa has at times posed a greater threat than the so-called white supremacists they combat.
Protests have erupted as the media has highlighted the policy of separating immigrant parents being separated from their children after illegally crossing the southern border.
The policy has consequently brought ICE under heavy scrutiny. (RELATED: Here Are Horrifying Photos Of obuma’s Illegal Alien Facilities The Media Refuses To Show You)
The obuma administration prosecuted almost half a million illegal aliens in the country from 2010 to 2016 and 20% resulted in a separated families, The Daily Caller reported.
Twitter and ICE did not immediately respond to an after-hours request for comment.

Trump's Deportation Squad Makes Massive Bust.
06/21/2018 Source: TTN
ICE has been cracking down on businesses who employ illegals lately. A recent investigation by ICE led to the arrest of over 140 illegals at a business in Ohio.
According to The Daily Mail:
More than 140 workers were arrested at an Ohio meatpacking plant by federal agents following a yearlong immigration investigation.
The investigation focused on whether the company knowingly hired people who are in the country illegally and used fake identities belonging to U.S. citizens to get their jobs, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said.
The arrests Tuesday come as the U.S. government steps up its focus on businesses that hire people in the country illegally as part of a broad range of immigration crackdowns under Republican President Donald Trump.
The 146 arrests in one of the largest workplace immigration raids in recent years happened at Fresh Mark's meat processing plant in Salem, in northeastern Ohio. Immigration agents and local authorities also carried out search warrants at the company's two other locations in Massillon and its plant in Canton.
Charges have not been filed against the company. Something that seems to be a pattern in the recent crackdowns.
It could be due to the illegals using forged documents. ICE stated the investigation is ongoing.

A top House Republican alleges rogue FBI agents may have "edited and changed" crucial witness reports and misled the Inspector General's office with "false information."

Freedom Caucus Chair Representative Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) disclosed the latest news in this developing scandal earlier today on Fox & Friends. (Fox News)

The House Judiciary and Oversight committees were questioning Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz over his bombshell report into FBI and DOJ misconduct during the Hillary Clinton email probe.

"The other thing that I would ask you to look into, there is growing evidence that 302s were edited and changed,” Meadows told Horowitz. “Those 302s, it is suggested that they were changed to either prosecute or not prosecute individuals. And that is very troubling.”

So-called "302s" are reports on witness interviews compiled by federal investigators. Horowitz said later he has additional information suggesting that the witness reports were changed after-the-fact in both the Clinton and Russia probes -- a particularly alarming possibility given the IG report's findings of bias in those investigations.

Horowitz suggested that the IG is reviewing information concerning modified 302s, saying his office intended to "follow up" on the matter.

Meadows also accused the FBI of misleading the IG's office in an attempt to conceal the identities of specific agents caught sending anti-Trump messages.
