If lying were treason the entirety of our political structure would be guilty.

That includes voters that willingly pulled levers for liars as accomplices.

I would humbly offer that the particular charge of treason be reserved for those not so easily switched off.

Call it by some other more fitting name like betrayal, first cousin of treason.

It should make us uncomfortable to use the language of the beast ourselves as when you get down to it those that voted empowered this and are just as deserving as any.
