I broke the back of the anti-Second Amendment Million Mom March in 2000 by exposing its use of 501(c)(3) tax-exempt money to endorse House candidates on its Apple Pie Award web pages. The organization crumpled up when columnist J.R. Labbe published the information I sent her and was later found to have filed a highly creative Form 990 tax return in which the organization told the IRS that it had spent no money to influence legislation. The organization liquidated in 2001, and the current Million Mom March is not the same corporate entity.

I also noted in an American Thinker piece:

We also need to ask Ms. Clinton publicly and frequently how much 501(c)(3) tax exempt money she plans to divert to her campaign next year the way she helped the Million Mom March divert 501(c)(3) funds to Al Gore's campaign as well as those of Democratic House candidates in 2000.

Obama Nominates Anti-Gun Judge (DC Circuit Court of Appeals Chief Judge Merrick Garland) for U.S. Supreme Court

Fellow Conservative,

Barack Obama has chosen a replacement for Justice Antonin Scalia and it is making me sick.

DC Circuit Court of Appeals Chief Judge Merrick Garland received the nod. Obama says that Garland is a moderate who Conservatives can get behind. He is lying.

One of Justice Scalia’s major accomplishments at the Supreme Court level was the opinion he wrote on the DC v Heller case. This was the case that decided whether American citizens actually have a right to own a handgun.

Justice Scalia wrote the decision that affirmed the individual right to keep and bear arms. Judge Garland – Obama’s pick – decided in that the government has a right to stop citizens from owning firearms all together. When lower courts affirmed the individual right to own a handgun, Garland was one of four appeals judges who voted to rehear the case en banc. He wanted to overturn the lower court’s ruling. Thank God he never got the chance.

But now Obama wants to give him that opportunity. This is what we’ve been talking about, people. No sooner had Justice Scalia passed, Obama and the Left were already chomping at the bit to overturn his landmark Heller decision.

Already, Republicans are saying that Garland is moderate enough and deserves a hearing.

Of course the cowards will bend over. However, the NRA and Gun Rights groups are gathering forces. I've just signed one petition for the NRA.   And I know others are also following up.
