The later part of the 20th century saw its share of odd financial bubbles. There was the real-estate bubble, the stock market bubbles, and the dot com bubble, just to name a few. In each instance of price inflation people paid exorbitant amounts for things that shouldn’t have been worth anything like the going price. And each time people stood around afterwards and said “What were we thinking?”

One has to believe that the same thought occurred to the Dutch in the 17th century when they settled down after their bout with tulipomania, wherein the humble tulip bulb began to sell for prices to make New York Realtors blanch.

As much as the tulip is associated with Holland, it is not native there. Rather it was introduced in 1593 by a botanist named Carolus Clusius, who brought it from Constantinople. He planted a small garden, intending to research the plant for medicinal purposes. Had Clusius’s neighbors been morally upright, the tulip might still be a rare exotic in the gardening world. Instead they broke into his garden and stole some of his bulbs in order to make some quick money, and in the process started the Dutch bulb trade

I would not put Barack Obama on the same scale as, say Hitler, right now he is significantly down the scale of that of an extreme Leftist. However His “war on terror” has been a joke . The fact that he may be secretly a Muslim seems to be verified by his own grade school records, which may explain some of his executive orders circumventing congress, his immigration policies allowing un-vented immigration from Islamic nations that promote terrorism, his vilification of the police that has led to police executions. His support of home grown terrorist like BLM the hate mongers who parade through the streets chanting: “What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want ‘em? Now!” Or: “Pigs in a blanket, fry ‘em like bacon!” His divisive rhetoric regarding the Orlando killer, making it about gun control instead of about Islamic terrorism to take the focus off the real issue. His under-handed, illegal stalking of conservative groups through the IRS saying its “hate speech” for the Tea Party to demand a balanced budget and secure borders???  Brow beating the FBI into not indicting Hillary and saying she would not be convicted before anything ever came out. How did he know I wonder? Hmmmm. Having his mutt of an AG blockade information and not answer anything before congress on HRC breaking of laws.  Has any of his actions been to aimed at strengthen the nation or are they designed to throw us into chaos and civil war.

As Obama said about his speech if I am guilty of anything its poor footnoting.

A federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that Texas’ strict voter ID law violates the Voting Rights Act and ordered changes before the November election.

The ruling from the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals instructs a lower court to make changes that fix the “discriminatory effect” of the 2011 law, but to do so in a way that disrupts this year’s election season as little as possible.

President Barack Obama’s administration took the unusual step of deploying the weight of the U.S. Justice Department into the case when it challenged the law, which requires Texas residents to show one of seven forms of approved identification. The state and other supporters say the Texas law prevents fraud. Opponents say it discriminates by requiring forms of ID that are more difficult to obtain for low-income, African-American and Latino voters. 

Lawyers for Texas have argued that the state makes free IDs easy to obtain. They said any inconveniences or costs involved in getting one do not substantially burden the right to vote, and that the Justice Department and other plaintiffs had failed to prove that the law resulted in denying anyone the right to vote

Lower court pulled the same thing here - now those who don't have photo Ids, and CLAIM they can't get one, can vote with signed form.  Good old Milwaukee Judge - again.   Won't affect the August voting ,but November.

Barack Obama has just said that Catholics and Protestants that teach the doctrine of those faiths are a source of resentment, and encourage division. This administration has made it clear that, although they haven’t directly said it, they seem to be going to war with those who follow the Bible. At the very least, they have seemingly decided that they are the political enemy.

From trying to force those who believe in the sanctity of life to provide abortions in their health care plans, to attempting to force employers to pay for contraceptives to their employees, to forcing Christian bakers to make pro-gay cakes, and now to clearly state that Catholic schools are a source of division, the Left has been relentless in their Crusade against Christians.

Radical Islam and some factions of main stream Islam never has and never will recognize any other Religion, and is hell bent on eradicating them. Ergo Obama's actions. You have to realize that Mohammed was angry that the worlds main religions of the time were totally overlooking the middle east, so he drew from the three to wrap together a Religion for the Mediterranean/North African Tan peoples who were being discounted as potential followers. His first attempt to start it up was actually based on peace and mutual respect but it only gleaned him about 800 followers. His next attempt showcased violence and advancing his religion at the point of a sword similar to the Radical Islamic Terrorists of today but in roving Army strength.
