Now, the Republicans kept the Senate and the House in a tough election year, and we don’t owe the Dems a damn thing. So why is he trying to butter up the Dem leader before taking office? I, among others, suspect, that Trump wants to appear as the “master negotiator” so much that he might be signaling he’s eager to compromise with the Democrats. Isn’t that exactly what his base has been ripping into the GOP establishment for doing?

Not sure what Trump is doing, but he did say he wants to unite our country. So playing nice to Chuck Schamer (SHAMER), not sure about that. But lets see what happens when he gets in.

Chuck the smuck is going to be the head of the Senate minority. He will need him to get things done. Our system is set up so that many things will take a 60% vote in Senate. He is setting the table for negotiations.Relax and watch his magic. You have to use diplomacy. From 1996 to 2010, Trump and his family donated thousands of dollars to Schumer. The billionaire businessman has defended his contributions by saying donating to a Republican in New York City would be “stupid” because they get only “1 percent of the vote.”

No intention of having a go at you every time you post but you need to get a grip about Trump.

That letter is six years old and non-politicians predictably curry favor as they never know when they may need it.

As for Engle, she was arguably one of the most incompetent candidates to ever run for national office. Compared to her, Mikey Dukakis was a veritable James Madison!
