Event Description

Statewide Tea Party Picnic

Bring your family, your friends, your coworkers and everyone you meet between now and June 27th.

I met with Ken Morse this evening and here are some details (more to come). The park is reserved/permitted. There are restrooms and plenty of parking. Bring your picnic lunches and games for kids. Arrangements are being made with deli's and nearby grocery stores to support out of town folks. There are buses being chartered for folks coming in from Spokane, Tri Cities, and other parts of the state.

Leaders from our grassroots organizations throughout the state along with national names will be speaking.

This is great opportunity to show through large numbers that we are still here, the momentum is still strong and that We The People are uniting.

E:mail Update from Ken Morse re: Tea Party Speakers

Dear Tea Party in Washington State:

We have some incredible speakers lined up for the Saturday, June 27th Tea Party Picnic in Olympia at Heritage Park on Capitol Lake. Bring your friends, your picnic basket, your folding chairs and a blanket and join us for an incredible program.

1) Thomas Paine (Bob Basso) is coming to Olympia! Really!

See Thomas Paine on YouTube

He has been interviewed on Glen Beck (click on the above link) I am sure you will recognize him. Thomas Paine (Bob) will have a stunning surprise announcement to make at our event!

2) Floyd Gregory Brown is an American author, speaker and media commentator. He is president of Excellentia Inc., a consulting company specializing in non-profit organizational strategy, development and marketing. Brown has also worked as a political consultant and conducted opposition research for political campaigns. Brown is noteworthy for his introduction of the "Willie Horton" television ad during the Bush-Dukakis presidential race.

There are several other speakers as well. I will send out a more formal email press release late – but I wanted you to be the first to know first.

We are going to party like it is 1773!

Yours truly,

Ken Morse

I'm sorry to say that we won't be attending. We will be in California that weekend. If we didn't have this other committment we would be there for sure. :-(

We would like for a tea party to be held in the Vancouver, WA area - Olympia is too far for us to come, unless we are coming up to that area or Seattle area.
