The natural temptation with Joe Biden is to treat him as a slow-witted buffoon, the kind of guy who refers to J-O-B-S as a three-letter word. But the clownish verbal façade conceals a crafty and ambitious politician. (snip) Fact: Joe Biden wants to be president more than anything else in this world or the next. Fact: Joe Biden decided not to challenge Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination for president. Conclusion: Biden knows that Hillary will be indicted. If he thought she would not be indicted he’d have jumped into the race to get the nomination. However, knowing she will

A sword-wielding madman wearing a “Star Wars” mask killed a teacher and seriously injured at least four students and another teacher Thursday at a school in Sweden, according to reports. The lunatic burst into the school in Trollhättan, north of Gothenburg, and began his maniacal attack early Thursday, the Daily Mail reported. He began attacking responding cops, who quickly shot him. He was hospitalized in serious condition. “One of my friends opened the door and there’s a man dressed in black with a ‘Star Wars’ mask and a large black sword,” a student told local TV.

The Muslim conquest of America continues apace. And some unexpected places are being heavily colonized. Case in point: Wichita, Kansas. Wichita is a “preferred community” for “refugee resettlement,” which makes it an epicenter for invaders. (snip) Other highlights of Muslims in Wichita include an FBI investigation into a possible water supply threat and a Muslim who hit and killed a man, then drove for 3 miles with the corpse on top of his car. There’s nothing like 20/20 hindsight. It’s as easy as it is politically cheap. So still topping the latest Franklin Pierce/Boston Herald primary poll, Donald Trump doubled-down on his assault on President George W. Bush. “The statement was made that ‘under my brother, we were safe,’?” Trump said yesterday on Boston Herald Radio, referring to an exchange with GOP rival Jeb Bush. “But I said ‘wait a minute, we weren’t safe because the World Trade Center just came down, thousands of people were killed, it was horrific.’ It was the greatest attack in the history of this country, so you can’t say we

A TEXAS high school student and his mother recently called attention to a curious line in a geography textbook: a description of the Atlantic slave trade as bringing “millions of workers” to plantations in the American South. McGraw-Hill Education, the publisher of the textbook, has since acknowledged that the term “workers” was a misnomer. The company’s chief executive also promised to revise the textbook so that its digital version as well as its next edition would more accurately describe the forced migration and enslavement of Africans. As a giant marketplace of ideas, Facebook is an astonishing barometer, for better or worse. Its force-multiplying “likes” and “shares” can direct masses toward aspirational “Arab Spring”-type movements or incite mobs with false grievances, such as the “Hands up, don’t shoot” mythology that plagued Ferguson. Whether people of goodwill are swept toward virtue or delusion and chaos depends on their willingness to Think Again about unexamined facts and “likes” — “to follow truth wherever it may lead,” as Thomas Jefferson urged. Martin Luther King inspired a national self-examination that touched Americans’ conscience. Motivated by the self-evident truth that all men

The Delft study, published Wednesday in the journal Nature, lends further credence to an idea that Einstein famously rejected. He said quantum theory necessitated “spooky

Hillary Clinton Plugs Book In Answer About Youtube Video

Hillary Clinton said that she has an entire chapter in her book “Hard Choices” about the administration’s failed response to the Benghazi attack, after a congressman asked her why she blamed the Benghazi attack on spontaneous reaction to a Youtube video called “Innocence of Muslims” instead of terrorism. Clinton’s book plug was followed by an attempt to explain her reliance on the video.

Hillary Clinton’s Team: ‘Unable To Obtain’ Some Missing Emails

Hillary Clinton’s legal team says Clinton is “unable to obtain” the missing emails from the beginning of her tenure as Secretary of State. The revelation occurred quietly during Clinton’s testimony at Thursday’s House Benghazi Committee hearing, when the Clinton-friendly publication Politico went up with a piece just after noon EDT.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton does not know that Marines stationed at U.S. embassies are there for security purposes. Hillary Clinton: Amb. Chris Stevens Did NOT Have My Personal Email

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton admits that the late Ambassador Chris Stevens did not have her personal email address. “I do not believe he had my personal email…He had the direct line to people he had worked with for years. He was in constant contact with people. Yes he and the people working for him asked for more security. Some of those requests were approved, some were not.”

Hillary Clinton Says People In Arkansas Talk Slow

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton remarked about how Southerners talk slow at Thursday’s House Benghazi Committee hearing. “I lived in Arkansas for a long time,” Clinton said, appropriating a vaguely southern twang. “I don’t need a translator, congressman.”

The puerile fireworks notwithstanding, the loudest noise coming from the Benghazi hearing was a low hiss. It was the sound of air coming out of the Republican balloon. Yes, Hillary Clinton faced tough questions and had no good answers for them. But those questions have been asked and unanswered for more than three years. Why was the US in Libya, why were security requests denied, why was the military not ready to respond on the 11th anniversary of 9/11, and why did the Obama administration falsely claim the terror attack was a spontaneous response to an anti-Muslim video? “These questions linger because previous

SAN ANTONIO — Continuing a growing state crackdown on Planned Parenthood, Texas health officials Thursday demanded thousands of documents, including patient records and clinical notes, from the organization’s abortion clinics and health centers across Texas. In surprise morning visits to Planned Parenthood offices in San Antonio, Dallas and the Houston area, investigators delivered written requests for records going back as far as 2010 from at least 10 of the organization’s facilities.

The amount of taxpayer funding that has gone toward the investigation into the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, is less than the amount the federal government has invested in “Origami condoms” and studies on why lesbians are obese. Democrats are very concerned that the Select Committee on Benghazi is wasting taxpayer dollars. Leading Senate Democrats, including Minority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.), are demanding that the RNC reimburse the government for the cost of the investigation. Rep. Linda Sanchez (D., Calif.) said it was a “gross misuse” of millions in taxpayer dollars. Ranking Member of the Benghazi committee Elijah Cummings (D., Md.)

Donald Trump’s boast that if he had been president, the September 11 jihad terror attacks would not have happened because “if I were running things, I doubt those people would have been in the country,” has been gaining him even more notoriety and cheers from foes of Obama’s immigration policies. What Trump would do to prevent jihad terror attacks by domestic jihadis, or Sharia encroachment on American freedoms, however, is far less clear than his stance on immigration, and some of the things he has said about these matters should give even the most full-throated of his enthusiasts considerably less

Even by Obama’s standards, this is pitiful.(Snip for tweet) Seventy Iraqi prisoners were freed in the joint U.S./Iraqi/Kurdish operation at an ISIS compound in northern Iraq, which reportedly came in the nick of time before the prisoners were executed. Sounds like a glorious success, and The One’s not known for letting others take credit for “his” successes. So why is this operation being laid in Ash Carter’s lap? Presumably because, in the gunfight at the compound, one American soldier was killed — the first killed in action in Iraq since Obama brought the troops home in 2011. “A mass atrocity was

To win the GOP primary and, more important, the general election, a candidate must be able to play to both grassroots supporters and the major donors. Since the dawn of the era of Internet campaigns, beginning in the 2000 election, no candidate in either party who was not, at this point in the election cycle, in the top two in grassroots fundraising has won the nomination, nor has any candidate outside the top three in major-donor funding. Candidates who cannot win the support of major donors ultimately lack the qualities to be competitive in a general election. Influential votes and

Hillary Clinton was forced to make several damning gardlessvelations during hours of sworn testimony at the House Select Committee on Benghazi on Thursday. The media declared that she “won” because she largely retained a placid demeanor. The Democrats declared that she won because they had already decided her political survival mattered more than the truth. Yet there were nine key revelations that emerged from the Benghazi committee. 1. Hillary Clinton told the prime minister of Egypt on Sep. 12, 2012 that a video was not responsible. It is now clear beyond any doubt that Clinton knew the Benghazi attack was

After adamant refusals and in view of the chaos reigning in the GOP House caucus, Paul Ryan is finally considering a run for speaker. Since Justin Amash probably won´t get it, here are three reasons why Ryan should: 1. He´s the only one who can unite the House factions. The reason why the House has been in such chaos has been the brewing civil war between the GOP establishment and the Tea Party. The Tea Party faction in the House is big enough to frustrate policymaking, but not big enough to enforce its agenda — even if it had one. The Tea

I did not watch the Benghazi hearings, unlike many others, in hopes of catching Secretary Clinton out, with my ears perked up for some admission that could sink her presidential ambitions. Secretary Clinton did not disappoint in her performance on Thursday. She admitted to no wrongdoing, nor to breaking any laws. Mistakes were made by others, the fault lies elsewhere. She put up with hours and hours of questions, and no one laid a glove on her. Secretary Clinton was far more adept at bobbing and weaving than the members of Congress who questioned her were at pinning her down.

Appointment wait times at the Department of Veterans Affairs are not getting better. Despite billions of extra dollars poured into the agency in the last year and numerous reforms intended to improve veterans´ access to care, whistleblowers and internal documents obtained by CNN reveal some VA facilities continue to grapple with appointment wait times of months or more. Even at the Phoenix VA medical center, where CNN learned last year "secret" appointment lists were hiding how veterans were dying waiting for care, sources say complicated wait-time calculations obscure ongoing appointment delays.
