It has been said, "No one ever went broke betting on the stupidity of the American voter".   

This is evidenced by the passage of the 16th and 17th Amendments.   Anyone with even an OUNCE of intelligence or common sense should have recognized that they were bad ideas. Yet, they passed -- easily!   

The maddening irony of elections is that even when approval for Congress is in the single digits, 90+% of them are re-elected.

So, I'm not saying "No"; I'm asking, "How?".   How do we make people recognize the imminent danger they and the country are in?   How do we get people who are obsessed with sports, Hollywood, social media, gossip, sex, and drugs to actually care about anything but themselves and their own crotch?   How do we get people who think the "Green New Deal" is a wonderful plan to realize its just propaganda for hate's sake?   How do we get people with a collective IQ of -20 to even begin to recognize the brilliance and foresight of the Constitution and the Founders, especially when they have been brainwashed into the lie that the Founders were evil White, slaveholders who just wanted to build a country for the exclusive benefit of themselves and their posterity?   How do we convince a people who are, essentially, politically (and in many cases, functionally) illiterate?

I am happy to help if you can tell me how.    

I often try to talk sense to people I meet and even my own family.   Their eyes roll back in their heads and they change the subject to some inane topic of zero consequence, never hearing a word I say.   To them, I am the crazy uncle in the attic while they blather on about "important" stuff that makes no difference in their lives.   It is both maddening and depressing! 

It is as though I am the "lunatic" on the corner with the sign, "The end is nigh".   Everyone just walks by, ignoring him.     

As you will recall, I used to be on the Tea Party Site, but was thrown off.   Ergo, I lost that venue to forward intelligent discourse.   Other than this "merry band" of true believers, I have little input.   

Then there is the fact that the media is openly pushing Socialism and hatred of Trump to the extent that almost NOTHING positive about Trump or his accomplishments is ever aired.   Even Trump has to rely on tweets and conservative talk radio to get his message out. 

Trump could single-handedly save the planet from an Earth-killing asteroid and the Media/Democrat cabal would have people convinced it was a bad thing.    

So, I don't know how we overcome that.   We are fighting an uphill battle against a Socialist educational system and a media trained by it.   

Despite the best efforts of the Democrat/Media cabal, Trump's numbers keep going up.   Even the most disconnected and uniformed respondents are getting the message.   It's hard to disagree with an exploding economy, higher pay, better jobs, etc.   I doubt voters will vote against their own self-interest.   

Reagan was pooh-poohed endlessly, yet was re-elected in a landslide.   Carter was endlessly promoted, yet was defeated.   Bush 43 was relentlessly attacked, yet was re-elected.   The lunacy of the Left is on full display which is why I conclude with the following.

ALL the above being said, I remain cautiously hopeful.   As I said in my previous email, I think the Democrat/Media cabal are overplaying their hand.   My wife, a registered Democrat, is beginning to see the error of her upbringing.   Her parents, life-long, rock-ribbed Democrats, no longer fat-mouth Trump or my politics.   I return the favor.   They don't even bring the subject up.  They know they have no valid argument.   Democrats I know are increasingly sullen and despondent.   They simultaneously love Trump's accomplishments and hate him for it.   They are beginning to realize that the more Trump accomplishes, the crazier the Democrat/Media cabal become.   I believe that many Democrats will join with the majority of Independents and secretly vote Republican in 2020.   I truly think the Left will be shocked and amazed at the outcome, just as they were in 2016.   I could be wrong, but I really think it will happen.  Increasingly, Democrats are left with voter fraud as their only viable option for victory.  

The Democrat takeover of the House may turn out to be a blessing in disguise.   It is becoming increasingly apparent that the Democrats are out of control and the Media is in their pocket.   The 2020 elections will be an opportunity for voters to correct their mistake.   

So, I don't know what we can do other than what we are already doing -- spreading the word as best we can.

All the new Left wing progressives being voted in is a blessing in disguise for the Constitution. By the time the election roles around ,the Dems. will have hacked their party to the brink. The in fighting is just getting started....This new Green Deal will become a great teaching devise providing we fight back. And Trump is a fighter we know. We need to back him up every time we can.  Tea Party must have rallies. Jenny Beth has turned into a lobbyist. This is fine ...BUT WE NEED SUPPORT RALLIES. Not a complaint organization....Keep supporting Judicial Watch...They have done great work. Fox has become a   fighter to offset  the left wing propaganda machines of MSM. Our talking heads are well versed and teaching the TRUTH of it. The conservative side of the fight uses prayer to guide us. We just need to get involved fully to win this battle......Wear your MAGA hat every day and represent it with the guidance of the lord.....THANK YOU ALL HERE  FOR FIGHTING FOR LIBERTY.
