The Dutch Tulip Bubble of 1637
The later part of the 20th century saw its share of odd financial bubbles. There was the real-estate bubble, the stock market bubbles, and the dot com bubble, just to name a few. In each instance of price inflation people paid exorbitant amounts for things that shouldn’t have been worth anything like the going price. And each time people stood around afterwards and said “What were we thinking?”

One has to believe that the same thought occurred to the Dutch in the 17th century when they settled down after their bout with tulipomania, wherein the humble tulip bulb began to sell for prices to make New York Realtors blanch.

As much as the tulip is associated with Holland, it is not native there. Rather it was introduced in 1593 by a botanist named Carolus Clusius, who brought it from Constantinople. He planted a small garden, intending to research the plant for medicinal purposes. Had Clusius’s neighbors been morally upright, the tulip might still be a rare exotic in the gardening world. Instead they broke into his garden and stole some of his bulbs in order to make some quick money, and in the process started the Dutch bulb trade

I remember we had a discussion about him on the other site (TPP)....Crooked people like to run together...Birds of a feather, flock together....I have a gut feeling that Hillary is going to get nailed on the E-mail scandal....And then the foundation on top of that.

Wall Street analyst uncovers Clinton Foundation fraud
Over the past six weeks, Wall Street financial analyst and investor Charles Ortel has shared with WND, prior to publication, the results of his six-month, in-depth investigation into what he characterizes as an elaborate scheme devised by the Clintons to enrich themselves.

Through their foundation, Ortel contends, the Clintons have defrauded an unsuspecting international public of hundreds of millions of dollars for personal gain.

The findings come amid separate charges in Peter Schweizer’s upcoming book “Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich.”

Obama spending millions to find summer jobs — for refugees
“Access to a job in the summer and beyond can make all the difference to a young person – especially those who don’t have access to many resources and opportunities,” President Obama said of his new Summer Opportunity Project.

The project spends a total of $21 million on a variety of programs in 11 communities nationwide with the focus of helping young people find summer work, and permanent part-time jobs, the White House and U.S. Department of Labor announced Monday.

At least $2 million of the total will be set aside to help 400 refugee students in Utica, New York get to work through the New Americans Career Pathways Project, the Utica Observer-Dispatch reports.

DNC Chair Who Accused Gov. Walker of Giving Women ‘Back of His Hand’ Accepted Money From Domestic Violence Abuser
Remember when Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz accused Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker of giving women “the back of his hand” with his conservative policies? Her insensitive comments, which ignored the struggles of real victims of domestic abuse, make her list of financial contributions a tad bit awkward.

In what can only be classified as a severe case of hypocrisy, Schultz has apparently accepted donations from Ibrahim Al –Rashid, the son of a Saudi billionaire who once pled guilty to assaulting his estranged wife.

I do remember that. Schultz makes my skin crawl ,just looking at her. It is not her looks that do it, It is the person within. And when she gives that certain smug look she gives,I get a sour taste in my mouth that I get before puking. I think even worse than when I see Hillary...Am I sexist because I said that?  Oh well.

Schultz is a liar who makes up her own facts. Anderson Copper nails her . But yet she can only believe the lie`s she spins..

Wow.. You gotta see this video about Schultz...Looks like the liberal progressives have had enough of her.
