Arizona Update
Michael,
With Arizona preparing for the landslide of lawsuits
challenging its new immigration law - Mexico's "friend
of the court" brief supporting the pending federal
lawsuits has been accepted by a federal judge.
According to published reports, Mexico's brief
"pleads with the court to declare SB 1070
unconstitutional and asserts that it has legal
standing as its interests and rights are at stake
if the law is permitted to go into effect on July 29."
The brief warns that SB 1070 will impact and "violate"
the rights of Mexican citizens as a result of "racial
profiling".
With the acceptance of Mexico's brief, Bolivia, Colombia,
El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Peru
have all filed identical briefs challenging the new
immigration law.
(EDITORS NOTE: Just who do these nations think they are?)
+ + Allies Stepping Up in Support of AZ Law
But despite media efforts giving the appearance that the
world opposes Arizona's new law, it simply isn't the case.
Outside of Arizona where public support for the law is
upwards of 80 percent, nine states including Michigan,
Alabama, Florida, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina,
South Dakota, Texas, Virginia have filed briefs in support
of Arizona.
And that's not all...
Grassfire Nation and ResistNet will be participating in
the National Immigration Policy Summit that begins on
July 30 in Phoenix. Hosted by Arizona State Senator
Russell Pearce (the architect of SB 1070), the summit
will explore ways in which your state can enact similar
"get-tough" immigration policies. The summit also
coincides with the first court ruling on the federal
lawsuit against Arizona.
Our goal is to present a minimum of 250,000 petitions of
support for the new law from citizens representing every
state in the union!
But we need your help, Michael.
We literally have just a few days to rally the additional
83,798 citizens to reach our 250,000 presentation goal.
Having already signed our petition, we are urging key
members of our team to immediately forward this message
to 30-40 friends urging them to stand as a friend of
Arizona, and against the aggressive attacks of not only
our federal government, but also Mexico, Peru and other
nations that are fueling the unmitigated flow of illegals
into our nation.
Encourage your friends to click below to sign our petition
and become part of this important show of solidarity with
the people of Arizona who have been overrun by illegals:

Our team will be in Phoenix to represent the voice of the
American people on July 30, but to make the greatest impact,
we absolutely must make our 250,000 goal.
Forward this message today, and if necessary follow up with
phone calls to your friends urging them to take action!
Thanks in advance for your tremendous support.
Your friends at Grassfire Nation
P.S. Michael, you've already signed our petition, but

MY LETTER TO ELECTED OFFICIALS:
Dear Congressman/Senator,
I support Arizona’s laws empowering enforcement against illegal immigrants.
The Arizona law allows the police to arrest immigrants unable to show documents proving they are in the U.S. legally, makes it a misdemeanor for immigrants to fail to complete and carry an alien registration document, stiffens penalties against illegal alien day laborers and their employers, and bans sanctuary cities that refuse to enforce immigration laws.
As a citizen of the United States who supports our Constitution, I believe it is the foremost duty of our government to provide for national defense - including the enforcement of prosecuting those who enter our country illegally! Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution, although brief, clearly states the applicable law in this case. It is BOTH irrefutable and indisputable. The 10th Amendment of the Constitution, Powers of the States and People or better known as the “States Rights Amendment” further reinforces/clarifies this dire issue. This Amendment as well is irrefutable and indisputable as is the ENTIRE U.S. Constitution which has been and now more so being trampled upon by this disgraceful and despicable administration! Although this amendment is “very liberally” interpreted, it is one of the tenets of the Constitution. The very fact of “very liberally” interpreted is the heart of the problem.
I implore you to obey the law of the land in our state as the Arizona legislators have done in their state. Crack down on illegal aliens. Step up our national security by closing the borders. It is reprehensible for lawbreakers to obtain any special status for illegal immigrants and their access to public services at legal taxpayer’s expense. Stop the drain these illegal aliens have on our resources. I oppose amnesty for illegal aliens.
I will be monitoring your vote on this matter.
Sincerely,
