MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON

I just finished watching the movie of the same title, made in 1939 starring James Stewart as an honest young man appointed to the United States Senate in hopes he could be controlled by the senior senator from his state (Texas), a corrupt man seeking his own power and wealth and happy to be the pawn of a greedy and corrupt newspaper mogul.  Jefferson Smith, in trying to do what is right, finds the corrupt machine turned against him in a vendetta of massive proportions.  This movie shows just how corrupt the government had become and it is even worse today.  Hillary Clinton is even more corrupt than the Senator Paine in the movie.  Hillary is legendary for destroying women who went public with being raped by Bill Clinton, yet still champions herself, successfully, as a fighter for women's rights.  The demokrat party is a group wholly owned and controlled by new world order globalists and arab billionaires.
