  Consider the population density of Manhattan, NYC.

  Use that as the standard, including the open & green spaces in the borough.

  With that density the entire population of the planet can be housed in Texas, with space left over

  There would still be beaches.

  Still be vast parks for emotional health.

  The rest of the planet could be cleared of people & allowed to "heal" for 100 years...

  No one needs to be rubbed out.

  No one would go hungry because the American Plains can easily feed the whole world if government doesn't interfere with food production ... We'd have all the grains & veggies we want, all the white & red meat we want. The seas & fresh water could provide all the fish & seafood we want.

  The Gulf & its Coast can easily provide all the oil & gas needed to power the civilization...and provide the thousands of plastic items a modern civilization needs.

  A dozen nuke-fired desalinization plants can easily provide water for all & for all uses without further tapping the aquifers.

  These anti-human assholes have created so many canards & false narratives that people -- some of us, at least -- actually believe population reduction is a viable idea.

Jim, There is another calculation using after WWII housing as in Brookpark, 

Ohio – bungalows to give each family their own and there is STILL enough room for the entire world population to

fit in TEXAS !!!

Leave Texas alone. Please??? House them in California and Oregon. Minnesota and Canada.
