Mangus --  Take a close look at this map: Undoubtedly, you've seen maps like it before. It is a map of the lands claimed by the federal government of the United States of America. And, undoubtedly, you can see that there is a huge discrepancy between the lands east of Colorado and those west. You may have even thought about the huge financial hardships that this map represents for American citizens of the West, or the lack of access all Americans deal with when trying to enjoy our "public" lands.  In the past few years, you may have become aware of how the federal mismanagement of their lands has resulted in chronic catastrophic wildfires which have polluted the air, burned millions of animalssenselessly, and destroyed the watershed for generations. You may have learned about how Congress uses their power over the West to extort votes from western legislators at the expense of every American.  But ponder this... This map was provided by the Department of the Interior as a representation of the lands controlled by the federal government in 1968! Over 47 years ago! And did you know that the very FIRST "Wilderness" area designated by the federal government happened in 1968! And since 1968 more than 108,916,684 acres have been designated as "Wilderness" and that number is growing rapidly. This massive overreach of federal power has left westerners in the dire situation they now find themselves in.  What about your state? How many acres of Wilderness or Monuments have been created since 1968? Do you have better access to your public lands...or worse? Are your forests healthier since 1968...ordying by the thousands of acres? Is your state in a better financial condition than it was in 1968...or is it struggling? And last but not least, which of your elected officials are fighting for your state's sovereigntyand well-being by stemming the tide of federal control over your lands? Elections are just around the corner and most candidates for office realize that the Transfer of Public Lands is a very important topic on this election's platform. Many will say the right things. But I encourage you to do your homework. If they have already been in office, what have they done to protect your state, rather than bow to the federal government every time they grab another chunk of land? If they have never been in office, do they truly understand the principles of local land management? Will they stand strong to defend the Constitutional rights of your state against the onslaught of federal overreach?  Or will they bend with the wind of "compromise", more worried about the next election than the welfare of their people? Hmmm....definitely something worth pondering.... M, Actually by helping those who need help gives me purpose. The feeling I get is my reward. Plus, I talk about shrinking government. If government does not take care of the less fortunate then we must. Too many want small government,but do nothing to fill the void. Jesus says we feed the hungry. Not the government. So I get to talk as loud as I want about shrinking government. So when some liberal or progressive says to me, Who will feed the hungry if the government does not. I answer with total confidence and can make the Liberal feel about 2 foot tall. So by feeding these hungry souls has its benefits. And I use these benefits to show how things are suppose to be done.

It used to be the churches and volunteer organizations who did feed the hungry and clothe the poor, not the government. they were overwhelmed and probably by design of the Progressive movement during the Great Depression and the subsequent depressions.

M, I also piss and moan about the selfish ,greed that has crept into our society.  Selfishness and greed are tools of the devil. To put the blame on progressives is fine by me. But there is plenty of the devils ways in the conservative lifestyle also..Capitalism is fine and a good healthy path for our social economics to take. But the selfish and greed that rides into it on the back of crony capitalism is the devil in the details. I believe in God. And I also believe in the devil. And the devil is a crafty son of a bitch. You say that the churches  and volunteer groups use to take care of it. But these groups allow themselves to be used by the government,  they get tax exempt status.And also take government funding.I prefer to stand alone ,for I do not need their help.And I will not be beholding to them. The devil is changing society with his tools. And all we do is want more for ourselves, so we feed right into his frenzy.

My Grandfather who was born in 1870 once told me in the beginning, the Bureau of Indian affairs should have been named the bureau of Indian removal and could have been likened to Hitlers Final Solution for the Jews . Citing things like how the "compassionate" Army was charged with giving blankets to the tribes to help them through winter cold but hiding the fact that every one of them was infected with Small Pox. He even said that many people thought that Wounded Knee Massacre was thought of as a deliberate act to cull the Indian Population and not what was written in the history books as a tragic mistake otherwise would they have so many (4) Hotchkiss mountain guns that had an effective range of 2 miles with the explosive canister shot containing 30 balls each, and why did they send the 7th Cavalry that had a grudge against all Indians.since the 1876 Little Bighorn incident that wiped out Custers force?

I may be wrong, I personally believe that Obama wants to do that to every American, Native Americans included, and possibly Shiite Muslims since Obama presents as Sunni Muslim. Both sects are trying to kill each other off and ISIL Obama regularly talks against is predominantly Shiite where as ISIS is predominantly Sunni ..

you are correct and another added issue on the table and I know many who have left and do so miss them, and understand too the hardest gut ranching decision any one could ever consider.  I am woman enough to admit that I and my family have considered the notion as well, absent though is a total elimination of such an idea... the discussion has yet to be closed.  Unnerving faces survival....... one hell of an inner battle

why does no one call these spineless cowards what they are ....spineless cowards...instead of standing and fighting for  FREEDOM for them and their children they tuck tail and run for the nearest door...

so I say good riddens and dont let the door hit you where the good lord......

the truth is that most of these spineless cowards left over MONEY nothing else...and if that is what they base their life on ...then again good riddens!!!!!

Seeing and listening to how out of touch BHO and everyone around him and I mean both sides are apparently ignorant and clever idiots and when combined with a dash of Administrative governmental tactics, to endure governmental narcissistic abuse this country and it's true citizens have been subject to for some time. 

We The People will no longer be the victim of such abuse, will confront misrule and neutralize it legally, intelligently, and see a  crystal clear future that the very rays of the suns light will pass through each facet  blind the felonious ineffective with forever being the optimum goal,,, or as close to forever possible.
