Precinct walking nets disappointing results

After I got out of work today at 4PM, I printed up sixty each of four McFixit blogs. Since many people were out in front of shops because the weather was warm, I decided to pass out the info and chat them up. Some good results, some pretty dismal. Some older guys in front of an ice cream store accepted the info, but not their friends. They didn't even want to keep the print outs. They loved Trump even tho' I pointed out Trump was a diversion....these guys were definitely not informed. Moved on. Met some middle-age guys, who wouldn't accept the printed info and cursed me out once they found out my tea party affiliation. Trumka lovers, SEIU members...Moved on to post info in the laundramat, one mid-aged guy , eyes half shut asked me "What is the Second Amendment?" Oh, brother.....Mind you, I reside in a predominately White Irish neighborhood, so I was .......so disappointed. Where were those Belfast renegades? Guess I'll go out tonite and post the info on private homes.  Good thing the beer shop was just down the block.

McFixit, throughout my time here and on other sites, you have remained an incredible inspiration and source of knowledge. Get out and enjoy the new Spring weather..we must enjoy our lives despite our country being ravaged.  Besides, there ARE MILLIONS of Americans who are awake!

Catherine, I do get out Daily and talk about the situation the Country is in. The problem is Americans have been force fed lies for so long they have extreme trouble seeing the truth. They are waking up though, and that is the one good thing Obama did by pushing so fast. He woke us up to the hidden Agenda of the last hundred years. Now we have to fight long and hard to remove all the corruption from our Country. It may take us a hundred years to restore the Republic to what it was meant to be.

Yo, my lovely, I'm sayin' go out and FORGET ABOUT POLITICS for awhile. You can bet these weasels who are screwing up the country enjoy just about every moment of their rotten lives. Stop worrying so much...You have already given this country more than your share.
