Great News — Next week the Republican-controlled House of Representatives will vote on the REINS Act!

Tell Congress to VOTE YES on the REINS Act!

It is extremely encouraging that House Republicans have made this a top priority as they begin the new 115th Congress.

The Regulations from the Executive In Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act is the simplest, most powerful regulatory reform: make Congress VOTE on regulations BEFORE they can take effect. Legislators doing the legislating. The way the Constitution says it’s supposed to work. No wonder it came from a tea party activist at a town hall meeting and not some “expert” in Washington!2

The House vote is just days away: Tell Congress to VOTE YES on the REINS Act!

We don’t have much time to act, so please do all you can to help get this critical legislation through the House with the strongest possible support to build momentum for the harder fight in the Senate.

We finally have a president who will sign the REINS Act. Now we need to get it on his desk.

Thank you for writing to Congress! Here's what's at stake.

For decades, Congress has found it convenient to pass broad, vague laws that delegate away all the real policy making power to agencies like the EPA, FCC, IRS, and HHS. And the country is suffering for it, with expensive, intrusive regulations that are insulated from democratic accountability.

That's unacceptable, and we're demanding Congress do its job and actually VOTE on major economic policies BEFORE they can take effect. That's what the REINS Act would do, and thank you for lending your voice. With your help, we'll get this legislation to President-Elect Trump’s desk for signature.
