Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

On Congress not doing their jobs Jack Keel wrote;
I haven't heard anyone calling for a house or senate recall vote yet, the anger we hear about sure isn't from the non voters who are happy with the status quo regardless of which faction of the Uniparty is in control.
The tools are there without changing the Constitution they simply don't get off their asses and vote. We can limit the legislators terms to one if people would do their duty.
I think it was driven home once about 18 years ago, it was election day and I had worked in the past with the proprietor of a local store, I was checking out around 5 PM that day and Don was helping his checker at checkout. I piped up and said to the checker. Is Don going to let you off in time to vote? He stammered and said I don't vote," better people than me can make those decisions." Don and I were literally stunned but it's the truth, pure voter apathy keeps these duds in power.
"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest for freedom, go home and leave us in peace. We seek not your council nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."

My beliefs on those subjects are;
I believe that unless we don't demand amendments to the Constitution are made and ratified, any solution will be momentary and impermanent because even if Congress passed a law, it could and considering their past practices would be declared unconstitutional by SCOTUS. This happened before with a balanced budget law that congress passed to ward off a States petitioned for Article V amendment convention, namely, the Gramm-Rudman-Hollings Act calling for a balanced Federal budget. That is the exact reason we need to make it an amendment.
Many people will say that Congress ignores the Constitutional laws so what is the reason for doing this. The reason is, we, individually or through actions by our State Legislatures, can bring suit against Congress if they do not obey Constitutional Law.They cannot exempt themselves from Constitutional Law like they repeatedly exempt themselves from the laws they create. The reason this has not been done for past actions is the apathy of the public. We the people have not stepped up and demanded an accounting. It is time to do so now.
