Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

One just never knows does one.

Europeans are losing their damn minds, always a good sign things are on the right track.

CNN is livid, again a good sign.

Putin seems ok with it, a step back from war is a good thing.

So all in all not a bad morning.

Thomas,

I admit I may not be correct in my assessment but what Comey did could have been a very cagey move, and I'll tell you why;

First off, if there are no charges at this point Obama can not Pardon Hillary with the Thanksgiving Turkey. It is not feasible to pardon someone for not being charged with a crime even provisionally so..

Second, if Hillary had become President she would not be able to get out from under the cloud of suspicion with out any charges being filed against her.

Third, the investigation Comey opined on was only directed at the possible criminal acts of mishandling classified materials, and charges can be preferred up to six years from now.

Fourth, The irregularities of the Clinton Foundation is to the best of my knowledge still ongoing and if the FBI is smart no charges will be preferred until after Obama is out of the White House.

Fifth, Not preferring charges and taking on the heat of the public disgruntlement makes Comey look like a team player to the Obama crowd and that will leave him in charge of the ongoing investigation into the Foundation instead of him being fired and a Lap Dog replacement be put in to bring charges that Obama could pardon even before going to court.

What's your take on this?

M, you lay out a understandable scenario . But I like to leel God played a roll in how the Comey statement came about..Comey was between a rock and a hard spot. But if he wants to clear things up and expose the rigged system. The stage is now set. I say ....LET THE HEADS ROLL...

Kevin,

What's to say God didn't inspire Comey to do that? the Stage is set for Jan18th after Trump is sworn in and Obama and crew can't screw with it.

M

You Can't Always Get What You Want
I saw her today at the reception
A glass of wine in her hand
I knew she would meet her connection
At her feet was a footloose man
No, you can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometime you find
You get what you need
I saw her today at the reception
A glass of wine in her hand
I knew she was gonna meet her connection
At her feet was a footloose man
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes well you might find
You get what you need
And I went down to the demonstration
To get my fair share of abuse
Singing, "We're gonna vent our frustration
If we don't we're gonna blow a 50-amp fuse"
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes well you just might find
You get what you need
I went down to the Chelsea drugstore
To get your prescription filled
I was standing in line with Mr. Jimmy
And man, did he look pretty ill
We decided that we would have a soda
My favorite flavor, cherry red
I sung my song to Mr. Jimmy
Yeah, and he said one word to me, and that was "dead"
I said to him
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You get what you need
You get what you need--yeah, oh baby
I saw her today at the reception
In her glass was a bleeding man
She was practiced at the art of deception
Well I could tell by her blood-stained hands
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You just might find
You get what you need
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You just might find
You get what you need

There is a tune in here begging for some notes.

Logical and entirely plausible.

It needs doing, not out of spite but to restore some shard of the rule of law.

Dig into it and who can say what is uncovered once the prospect of a pardon is removed.

M,

Fair points but let me reflect before responding.

Actually she can be pardoned without changes laid on her much as Nixon was pardoned without charges but only the threat of them.

Something to take away from this and ponder.

Given what we know, a "classic college education" does not make one more educated only more indoctrinated.

Indeed! Genius has no need of any credential for its validation.

Aquinas, Michelangelo, Shakespeare, Mozart; Von Leibniz, among hundreds; are mute testament to that truth.

Seems Jack is unusually quiet about Trumps win. I wonder if he still believes that a Trump win will destroy us? Sorry Jack, we tried to tell you that Trump was the favorite of the American people and they had their say. The win was a wake up call for Congress about how the Ameriocan public felt about all the crap that was shoved down their throats.

Paycheck stopped?
