Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

That is the benign and compassionate sounding death knell to our last right of self determination at the ballot box. It is more nefarious in my opinion than their latest public scheme of General Mail-In-Voting. The way this is written by a Democrat for Democrats would allow anyone who they designated such as; illegals, felons, foreigners, children under 18, in fact anyone they felt they could count on for a vote. In my opinion this amendment would give the Democrats a permanent win.
We already have amendments that guarantee voting rights. In 1870, the 15th Amendment granted Black men the right to vote. In 1920, the 19th Amendment granted women the right to vote. In 1964, the 24th Amendment prevented poll taxes, a payment to vote which disenfranchised many poorer people in states which implemented the practice. In 1971, the 26th Amendment lowered the voting age from 21 to 18.
Now the Democrats want what they call a blanket coverage for voters. This coverage would be the Constitutional means for the Democrats to eliminate all methods of voter identification at the polls. It would allow Democrats to implement General Mail-In-Voting, and any other scheme they ,might dream up to enhance their end totals at the polls. They could use it to preserve a constitutional right to vote for both ex-felons and people incarcerated for a misdemeanor. Citing the Amendment they could manipulate it to allow even minors to vote.
Considering the Democrats ongoing attempts to reshape the Nation into something that currently is not allowed because of the restrictions then Constitution puts on them, I think they would abuse and consistently mis-use this type of Amendment in the manner they turned the 14th into releasing then peoples and states control over the Federal Government.
With no official legislative title, it was introduced in the House on June 25 as House Joint Resolution 91, by Rep. Jim Cooper (D-TN5).
