Is Obama Practicing Stealth Jihad with ISIS?
By Ben Barrack on August 20, 2014 in Featured, General
According to Islamic law, Barack Obama is a Muslim because his father was a Muslim. He referred to the Islamic call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on earth at sunset”; he has Muslim Brotherhood infiltrators throughout his administration; he’s defended Huma Abedin; he referred to his “Muslim faith” in a Freudian slip during an interview with George Stephanopolous; he’s sided with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt; he’s a close friend of Rashid Khalidi, former Yasser Arafat media spokesman; he’s aligned with Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who seeks the return of the Ottoman Empire; and the Middle East is on fire.
Shall I go on?

Charles,
Have you ever noticed that Obama will only declare ISIL when talking about Terrorism and not ISIS? That is because many Muslims of the Sunni sect believe that ISIL should not be considered as having a place in Islam even though they do the same things through ISIS. That denotes that Obama is somehow connected with the Sunni sect and not the Shia one.
If you really want to read a lot about it: more or less, they would likely be various jihadist sorts within the Salafi movement , see also: Salafi jihadism, and Wahhabi movement. And Takfirism: The Key to Understanding ISIL - OnFaith as well.
Note, some may call these phenomena "sects". Others (like those who insist "there are no sects in Islam") may just say these are different kinds of interpretations, or movements. But all are within Sunni Islam (in fact these types of Sunnis are usually radically anti-Shia, to the point of calling the latter not even Muslim). It's an aggressive, extremist, puritanical kind of Sunni Islam, basically. With a good measure of geopolitics mixed in.
Here is a better description of why Obama used the term ISIL instead of ISIS, http://www.glennbeck.com/2014/09/15/why-obamas-use-of-the-term-isil...
Thus, the ultimate objective of Islamic extremists is the merger of “mosque and state” under sharia law. Those who favor such an approach are called Islamists. Their ideology is called Islamism, or political Islam.

When a young person becomes age to vote a get involved with the politics of the world , they are usually very caring and want only for everyone to have a happy and full fulling life. This shows to us that these young people have a good God given heart....When a person hits mid life and still runs his politics through only their liberal heart felt leanings. This shows me that God has deprived them of the gene needed for brain development.
Kevin, so only conservatives have a developed brain? Do you not support Trump? How did he get the gene?
Hey Jack, I got a question for you. What ever happen to your gal Hillary`s Over Sea`s Contingency Plan. How did that work out for you lefty`s....And to answer your question ..Many young start out liberal in thinking, (including me) But as we get older some get smarter. So yes Trump was a more liberal younger man who was lucky enough to be blessed with the smart gene.
I have no idea what Hilary's Over Sea's Contingency Plan would be or do I care. She is not my gal and never has been. She gets my vote this time around because I care about the safety of all Americans and that includes you Kevin.
Yes Charles I care about America and its citizens, all of them. I believe Trump would be devastating to all Americans should he become president. I have no fears about Hillary. I may not like her form of politics and I certainly don't pay attention to right wing bloggers. They are free to say anything but I have learned that 90% of what they claim is false, so I stopped wasting my time listening to them. I get no value from what they say.

Afghanistan fallout three decades later
Know you're history not rewrite it!
I have a pet peeve against all attempts to rewrite history that goes well beyond the usual disdain for those who speciously boast of 20/20 hindsight. Thus as soon as I read that the American born shooter in the Orlando nightclub incident* was 29, I knew what to expect in our current political environment. Age 29 means the individual's parents came to America from Afghanistan sometime before mid-1987. Many people seem to have forgotten some basic facts from that period. Others are disregarding what they do know because it is not helpful to their current political goals.
Consider that in 1986, most Americans saw the Mujahedeen not as religious fanatics but as an army of Davids taking on the invading USSR Goliath with the assistance of US made Stinger missiles instead of a slingshot and rocks. Nor was this view confined to conservatives. Remember "Gunga Dan" Rather's trip to Afghanistan during which he shed all his self-proclaimed journalistic objectivity to go on a raid with the Mujahedeen?
Consider that in 1986 the idea that the Mujahedeen would in a few years lead to the Taliban, Al Qaeda and ISIS was nowhere to be found. Indeed, the watershed events in 1979, the overthrow of the Shah and the seizure of the Grand Mosque tended to be seen by many as aberrations when, in fact, they marked the start of a strong counterrevolution to the decades of secularization by governments across the region that had looked to western style socialism as the model for the future of the region,
