Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic
Paper | October 26, 2015
By: Darrell M. West
Automation is appearing everywhere. Ready or not, innovations like robotics, computerized algorithms, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, medical sensors and machine-to-machine communications, 3-D printing, and autonomous vehicles will increasingly transform the global economy, even displacing many in the human workforce.
Today only 16 percent of students graduating high school are proficient in and interested in a career in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). This fact underlines the potential consequences this new frontier presents for the workforce and the provision of health benefits, pensions, and social insurance. As automation and robots displace or replace workers, how can society adjust so as not to disrupt the delivery of social benefits like health care and pensions?
In a new paper, "What happens if robots take the jobs? The impact of emerging technologies on employment and public policy," Darrell West tackles this question by offering creative solutions to dispensing social benefits while automation continues to rise. West proposes striking economic changes in order to restructure how our society delivers on the social contract, such as:
"There needs to be ways for people to live fulfilling lives even if society needs relatively few workers," West writes. Taking steps now in anticipation of the exciting new future that awaits will help people adapt to new economic realities.

IS THIS THE ENTRANCE TO THE BRAVE NEW WORLD?
Nope, This is not the entrance to the New World. This is Technology of the future. The fact is things will always change, just like change has been through out history. I can except the change reluctantly. But how the devious controllers use it is the horror of it. The global puppet masters known as the Builderberg Group scare me.
KK,
There have always been groups of rich businesses that have global business and research to find opportunities and to beat the Competition.
This man had developed a intentional business network that provided him with information faster than others so he made fortunes acting like Lloyds of London which insured most ships and cargoes. All such groups have come and gone over the known history of man.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_Schliemann
Like the Council of Foreign Relations, the US Chamber of commerce, the governments [CIA] all gather research trying to gain an advantage in the market place. There groups trade in currencies, metals, commodities, freight shipping, and general commerce.
Are they secret - some more than others but they pay for research not to give it away but to profit.
I wish you would research the Builderbergs a little deeper. I know your busy with EPA stuff, and that makes it hard to dig into something else with same vigor. But if you flipped this group upside down and roll it over, I know you would see just how threatening and controlling of things they are. It is more than you give them credit for...Way more....Just keep an open mind as to what I say.. It would be important for someone like you to research them. Climate control groups react to the strings they pull. They own the power of the purse and they use it.
KK,
I have researched the Builderberg the CFR and others. I have found nothing but rumors and not one factual event where they did anything illegal. Alex Jones uses their secret meeting to create demand for his books and videos.
Read this as it is fairly accurate and agrees with most of the real research that has been published.
I have used wikipedia in my research only as a place to start.I have taken each member of the group and researched them individually. The group as a whole looks innocent and will deceive and hide their agenda of a NWO. You can not say there is no NWO agenda, because many of them have admitted it. The whole progressive movement is under their guidance. They get people elected, they influence through special interests and media. They nudge society along the pathway they chose. To blow them of as a conspiracy just because of Alex Jones reporting on them, is exactly the guise they want and hoped for. If you are a believer of God , then you realize that evil is a force in the world. And the devil is crafty. If you stop at wikipedia as your only research tool then I have underestimated your researching ability. I suggest researching with the will to find the truth with open mind, and always doubt what you find so you keep digging. We have all been fooled because of shallow research. I do not wish to insult you. But your response with wikipedia was insulting to my research that I have done. It took me a long time to speak about this group and risking the conspiracy label. I would not be saying what I say just because of some little notion I had because of shallow research. Get Alex Jones out of your head. He is the insult of insults as far as I`m concerned. He lines his pockets with being the scary conspiracy guy. The elite members of the Builderberg Group are very smart, and for the most part feel that they are the chosen ones. They view themselves as Godly. So many world leaders have had that complex, and it never ended well. They have some ideas that sound good. But I for one know it is not good for humanity. I wish people would not blow this off as a conspiracy. The great leaders of our time have usually traveled the pathway that has the least amount of travel.Need smart people to break from the herd.
KK,
I used wiki as I did not feel that the previous detailed research I have done have shown no real evidence that the NWO is a valid goal.
Yes Like Bush I they have referenced it as a idea that has been discussed to see if commerce ties can be used to stop wars. This is a Christian goal last time I looked. So, to discuss any way to stop the killing is a good start.
If you found any evidence on any of the attendees committing crimes or doing some violation of international ethics I would gladly comment on same.
Surely all business people try to elect people they can support and protect their assets. To do otherwise would be self defeating and that person/business would be a failure.
Like the Federal Reserve, the American Military research and actions must be done in secret.
Crony Capitalism is probably worse than socialism. Every one would support capitalism if you keep the injustice of cronyism out of it. Liberty and Justice for all is the Republic of Americas way. But so many over look the rules our founding fathers set. That is why so many have a problem with capitalism. So i would hope you do not really think that how some business people protect their assets should be viewed as business as usual. That has been the problem with how Washington works. I would think you feel the same... But hey Maybe Crony Capitalism is fine by you. I do not know.
Here is an example: I am sure that you realize that The EPA has an important roll in our society. With out it we would be one big garbage dump. The thing that has ruined the workings of the EPA is crony capitalist that use it to get what they want via lobbying. They do not break laws, but they are still scumbags. So your thing about as long as laws are not broke really carries no weight, and should not carry any in the world of wrong and right. Most people with a christian belief have the ability to know wrong from right. I do not know how you feel. But I am glad that so many do not need laws to live in a moral way. But there does seem to be less of us as time goes on.
Crony Capitalism is a big central government Fascist/Socialist type action. It is one of the prime directives of that style government very like Communism except the Elements of Production are "CONTROLLED" by government.
This is where big agencies that were being done fine by the States until WW II when the government expanded under FDR like your EPA example cities, counties all operate the dumps.
Well the political class needs money to run campaigns so it uses the Federal agencies to reward or destroy businesses and industries. So, it is not the businesses that promote these rules and regulations except now where they can use the excessive cost to comply causes the competition to back out.
If the Regulations and agencies were returned to the States this would end that dance to our death - Competition would be restored and Capitalism would select the successful not politicians.
Your view of empowering the State and Local Governments is probably one of our most important agendas. I do feel you are spot on with this view and will leave this discussion with a proper ending by letting your point stand as the last word.. Good debate.
KK.
The government that best governs is the one closest to the governed.
Our Founding Fathers.
