Trump Admin Slams Obstructionist Democrats On Pompeo Nomination.
4/23/18 Town Hall by: Katie Pavlich
PressSec on Pompeo: “A majority of Democrats continue their pointless obstruction to score cheap political points with their base as a willful attempt to undermine American diplomacy.” Fox News Apr/23/18
CIA Director Mike Pompeo will face a vote from the Senate Armed Services Committee Monday evening, which will determine whether his nomination for Secretary of State will proceed to the Senate floor for a full confirmation vote.
A number of Democrats and Republican Rand Paul are vowing to vote against him. The White House has taken notice. Two Democrats, Senators Joe Manchin and Heidi Heitkamp, are onboard.
"A majority of Democrats continue their pointless obstruction to score cheap political points with their base as a willful attempt to undermine American diplomacy," White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said during the daily briefing Monday.
"At some points Democrats have to decide whether they love this country more than they hate this president," she said earlier during an interview with Fox and Friends.
"Hard to believe Obstructionists May vote against Mike Pompeo for Secretary of State. The Dems will not approve hundreds of good people, including the Ambassador to Germany. They are maxing out the time on approval process for all, never happened before. Need more Republicans!" Donald J. Trump Apr/23/18
Trump Warns Caravan Of Illegals, Sanders Discusses North Korea.
Apr/23/18
President Trump issued a stern warning to a caravan of illegal immigrants working their way north from Mexico via Twitter.
"Despite the Democrat inspired laws on Sanctuary Cities and the Border being so bad and one sided, I have instructed the Secretary of Homeland Security not to let these large Caravans of people into our Country. It is a disgrace. We are the only Country in the World so naive!"
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders went further to explain the president’s warning:
“The Trump administration is committed to enforcing our immigration laws, whether people are part of the caravan or not. If you enter the United States illegally, let me be clear, you have broken the law. And we will enforce the law through prosecution of illegal borders. While we’re committed to doing everything we can on the border to secure our nation, we need Congress to do their job as well and to pass legislation to close the legal loopholes and prevent us from securing our borders and protecting Americans,” Sanders said.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen M. Nielsen also warned the caravan of prosecution via a statement:
“If members of the ‘caravan’ enter the country illegally, they will be referred for prosecution for illegal entry in accordance with existing law. For those seeking asylum, all individuals may be detained while their claims are adjudicated efficiently and expeditiously, and those found not to have a claim will be promptly removed from the United States.”
The press secretary also echoed the president’s strong words for North Korea, demanding full denuclearization:
“We’re going to continue the maximum pressure campaign that has been ongoing to North Korea until we see concrete actions taken towards complete and total denuclearization,” she said. “No sanctions lifted until we see concrete actions taken by North Korea to denuclearize.”
RNC Smashes Fundraising Record!
GOP Presidential Staff Apr/20/18
The Republican National Committee (RNC) announced Friday that it raised $13.9 million in March, setting an RNC record for that month during a non-presidential election year.
The RNC’s March haul, which was obtained first by The Hill, brings the committee’s first-quarter fundraising to $39 million and boosts its total fundraising for the 2018 cycle to $171.6 million.
The RNC ends March with $42.9 million cash on hand, with no debt reported.
“Another month of record-breaking fundraising confirms what many in the mainstream media are ignoring: Americans are doing better under Republican leadership,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel.
Jewish Man Beat With Belt By Islamic Migrant For Wearing Kippah.
Apr/20/18
“A group of three unidentified men can be heard on the video clearly shouting ‘Yahudi’, the Arabic word for Jew.”
“Anti-Semitism doesn’t belong to the Berlin we want to live in,” Michael Müller, the city’s mayor, said.
Tell it to Merkel, Herr Müller. Her suicidal immigration policies have created the environment where this sort of thing happens.
“Jewish men beaten with belt in Berlin anti-Semitic attack,” by Justin Huggler, Telegraph, April 18, 2018:
“There has been public outrage in Germany after video footage emerged of two Jewish men being violently assaulted in an apparent anti-Semitic attack in central Berlin.
The two men, who were both wearing kippah, traditional Jewish skullcaps, were insulted before being set upon and whipped with a belt in one of the city’s most fashionable neighbourhoods.
A group of three unidentified men can be heard on the video clearly shouting “Yahudi”, the Arabic word for Jew.
The two victims stood their ground and threatened to call the police before their main assailant was dragged away by his companions.
The incident was videoed by one of the victims, who was named by Israeli television as Adam Armoush, a 21-year-old Israeli citizen living in Berlin.
“They kept cursing at us and my friend asked them to stop,” Mr Armoush, who suffered minor injuries, told Kan TV. “They started to get angry and one of them ran at me and I knew it was important to film it because there would be no way to catch him by the time the police arrived.”
The video shows the attacker whipping Mr Arnoush with a belt. The 21-year-old said he had suffered bruises and minor injuries. The other victim, a 24-year-old Israeli citizen, has not been named.
The incident is the latest in a disturbing series of attacks on Jewish people in the German capital, which have seen men in skullcaps assaulted on the streets and Jewish children threatened in schools. Most of the incidents have involved Muslim assailants.
“It is intolerable for young men to be attacked here just because they are wearing a kippah,” Heiko Maas, the German foreign minister, said in a statement. “Jews must never again feel threatened here. It is our responsibility to protect Jewish life.”
“Anti-Semitism doesn’t belong to the Berlin we want to live in,” Michael Müller, the city’s mayor said….

More People Than Ever Don't Believe Political News!
Katie Pavlich Apr/23/18 12:15 PM
The media's trust problem has gotten a whole lot worse over the past year after blowing the 2016 presidential election.
According to a new Rasmussen survey, more people than ever distrust political news.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 54% of Likely U.S. Voters now say they do not trust the political news they are getting, up from last June’s previous high of 46%. Only 36% did not trust political news in January of 2017, but that number was in the 40s from 2014 through 2016.
Just 32% do trust the political news they are getting, down slightly from surveys since 2016. Another 15% are not sure.
These numbers come on top of another Rasmussen report that shows most voters believe reporters are biased against President Trump.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters believe when most reporters write or talk about the president, they are trying to block him from passing his agenda, up from 44% a year ago and 47% in August.
Meanwhile, President Trump will skip this weekend's upcoming White House Correspondent's Dinner and is hosting a rally in Washington, Michigan at the same time.
"While the fake news media will be celebrating themselves with the denizens of Washington society in the swamp that evening, President Trump will be in a completely different Washington, celebrating our national economic revival with patriotic Americans," Trump re-election campaign CEO Michael Glassner said in a statement.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders will attend the event.

BREAKING: Authorities: Tennessee's Waffle House shooting suspect has been taken into custody.1:10 PM - Apr/23/18
Police in Nashville said Monday that there had been “no confirmed sightings” of Travis Reinking, the 29-year-old accused of opening fire in a Waffle House and killing four people before effectively vanishing, prompting a sprawling manhunt across the Tennessee capital.
“We don’t know where he is,” Don Aaron, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, said at a news briefing more than a day after the shooting. “It is possible he has left the area, but we don’t know.”
Most recently, Aaron said, Reinking stole a BMW from a dealership in suburban Nashville just four days before the Waffle House shooting, eluding police officers who later recovered the vehicle at his apartment complex.
ZERO TOLERANCE, New Border Policy?
Apr/16/18
Attorney General Jeff Sessions contacted U.S. Attorneys in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas Friday and directed them to take a zero tolerance approach against individuals who enter the United States illegally.
“The situation at our Southwest Border is unacceptable. Congress has failed to pass effective legislation that serves the national interest—that closes dangerous loopholes and fully funds a wall along our southern border.
As a result, a crisis has erupted at our Southwest Border that necessitates an escalated effort to prosecute those who choose to illegally cross our border,”Sessions released in a statement. “To those who wish to challenge the Trump Administration’s commitment to public safety, national security, and the rule of law, I warn you: illegally entering this country will not be rewarded, but will instead be met with the full prosecutorial powers of the Department of Justice.
To the Department’s prosecutors, I urge you: promoting and enforcing the rule of law is vital to protecting a nation, its borders, and its citizens. You play a critical part in fulfilling these goals, and I thank you for your continued efforts in seeing to it that our laws—and as a result, our nation—are respected.”
The announcement and directive comes just two days after President Trump ordered the deployment of the National Guard to the southern border with Mexico.
According to the White House, 2000-4000 troops will be sent until the border wall is completed. Based on recommendations from local governors and Border Patrol agents, additional guards could be deployed if extra resources are necessary.
Earlier this week, the Department of Justice also announced new grading measures and quota requirements for immigration judges in order to clear the extensive backlog of pending cases.
In March, Border Patrol agents saw an increase in illegal crossings of 200 percent after 50,000 illegal aliens made their way into the United States.
