Greetings Everyone,

As I receive information from the Roland Straten Campaign Headquarters and in newspaper articles I will be (have been) posting it to help keep you informed.

It is time for change, and I believe real change, change that will positively improve and make living in District # 8 better, changes that will be for all residents of district # 8, and not for the benefit of special interest groups, and lobbyist for private industries, and illegal immigrant organizations. I believe that Roland Straten will listen, hear, support and carryout the wants, will of the majority of his District # 8 constituents, as well as for the good of our state, and our Republic.

Dear District #8 Residents,

Things are really getting into high gear, and I want to update you on a few things.
.
1) Don’t forget that the Lt Gov is coming to support the campaign next Tuesday, Oct 5 at 6:30 at Mayfair Farms. Cost is $275 per person $500 per couple. We have a good crowd, but there is always room for more.
.
2) Last week was a very busy week. We met literally 1,000’s of people at Bloomfield Harvest Festival, Holy Family Church, a number of coffees, a number of fundraisers, campaign headquarter openings, at shopping malls, and early morning at bus stops.
.
3) Good news! Our volunteer force has grown exponentially. Volunteers making calls, sending post cards, and meeting voters will be the difference in this election. If you have not yet volunteered, send us an email or call us telling us what you would like to do.
.
4) Another bit of good news! Money is starting to flow in quite nicely. We are receiving many small contributions from individuals who have decided they want a real change in representation in Washington. We thank all of you who contributed. You will receive thank you letters, but we are running a bit behind.
.
5) Even more good news: Name recognition is definitely increasing. Most people have heard the Straten name and are happy to put a face to the name.
.
6) Next weeks schedule is on the webpage under events. We finally learned to easily keep it up to date and I think you will like what you see.
