Credit Where Credit is Due

It is high time to give credit where credit is due. The media will not do this. The networks will not do this. The legal community will not do this. The educational community will not do this. The press will not do this. The liberal hubbub will not do this. SO, I will do this. I am only one person out of many millions in our country, but I do know that I am not a lone voice. So here is what I aim to do that none of the above enlightened elites ought to do:

Thank You, President George W. Bush! You have been responsble so many things over the past several years. You have controlled the weather and was the chief cause of Hurrican Katrina. Those grown adults who stayed down there at the Superdome and in and around the warning areas have no one to blame for their plight but you. You have made global warming come upon us even quicker than the news media and their cohorts could ever have dreamt. Why, you gave Al Gore a pretty good living on this subject. You have been the very reason that AIDS is such a world-wide epidemic, along with dread diseases of every kind. The reason the stock market and the economy is in the tank lies squarely on your shoulders, because you are the culprit who has so much power that even the finanacial institutions bow to your command! If it wasn't for you, President Bush, Israel and all her enemies who want to drive her into the sea, would have made up long ago and signed a real treaty. It's all your fault, President Bush, that there is such poverty in America, even though most who live below the level don't pay taxes, receive free food and shelter and medical care---but it's still your fault! There is only one reason that the kids in America have low scores---you guessed it---you are the reason. You have never cared enough to see that our kids are taken care of from the time of birth till their death. You get the idea, President Bush?
You have more power than any man walking the face of the earth!

Now, let me tell you the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey would say: Of course the above is sarcasm aimed at the liberals and the odd left-wingers almost totally dominating the Democrat party today. These folks are reached the point of no return in their foolish concepts. Now, let me tell you what
I really think and what I am going to say:

Thank You, President George W. Bush, for being a man of character and confidence. Thank you for not being perfect, and not coming across as though you are---none of us are. Thank you for taking a stand on the war on terrorism, when the hounds from hell were snapping at your heels. Thank you for speaking the truth when it wasn't easy to do so. Thank you for being a Pro-Life man and president---unashamedly.
Thank you for supporting our U.S. Military---the greatest heroes on earth! Thank you for always expecting the best of our country and encouraging all of us. Thank you for all you have done these past eight years. I voted for you both times and would do so again. There are a couple of issues on which I disagreed with you, but I do not feel that you were taking your stand due to politics, but due to your convictions. For that
I admire and thank you. Thank You for not be ashamed to name the name of Jesus Christ as your Savior! And lastly, along with millions of other Americans, I thank you for keeping me/us safe these past eight years, since 9-11.

And now, as you do each time, I want to say to you: God bless you and God bless America!
