Subject: False and misleading statements to sway voters:

Las Vegas, Nevada on October 20, 2010 there is a blog posted by Michael Zahara on http://www.watchdogwag.com/ indicating the following statement below on the Las Vegas Township Constable race between Democrat John Bonaventura, Independent American Party Lee Andersen, and Republican Peter Gariano:

“Then there’s the Republicans like Craig Lake, Joe Tatner, Steve Sanson, Tea Party and Patriotic Resistance Director and now ClarkGOP head Frank Ricotta, all supporting Bonaventura—and dozens of other weak links and misfits, and a whole boatload of extremist Independent American Partiers too!!”
I am a member of Nevada PAC and I was endorsed by this organization in my candidacy for Public Administrator during the primaries. I was grateful for this group’s endorsement, but I made no indication that I am in support of John Bonaventura for Las Vegas Township Constable over the current candidates in the General Election.

Don’t get me wrong I have a great deal of respect for Mr. Bonaventura and he did what others thought was impossible and won his primary.

After taking a look at all three candidates I made a personal choice and posted on my Face Book site at: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1293413790 that I have voted for Peter Gariano.
I don’t put too much stock into political affiliations; I look at the person’s knowledge, compassion, and qualifications for the job. After looking at these attributes I have made a personal decision to vote for Peter Gariano.

I am not attempting in any way to sway the voters by this press release, but I feel that I have an obligation to rebut this misleading statement by Mr. Zahara. As soon as I found out about this I made a personal phone call to Mr. Zahara by leaving a message on his voice mail requesting him to recant his blog and I also made public announcement of this malfeasant on the Veterans In Politics Solution Focused show on KLAV 1230AM yesterday.


These are the last few days and candidates are getting scared and desperate. I also received a phone call from a judicial candidate indicating that a radio commercial was aired in me supporting his opponent. For the record I have contacted everyone in my area that I voted for by face book or by phone and I am in support of all candidates in my area that was endorsed by the Veterans In Politics except for one and that person already knows.

When it comes to me voting for a candidate it’s never a secret.
