Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic
Independence Caucus is endorsing many great Constitutional Conservative candidates around the country. There are three excellent candidates running for office in Indiana.
Richard Beyney (R) is running for U.S. Senate. He is the owner of a plumbing company. He believes in the U.S. Constitution and limited government. He is a highly respected leader of the "grassroots" Tea Party movement in Indiana.
He is committed to BOLD practical action on: Repealing Obamacare, Debt reduction, Responsible gov't spending, 2nd Amendment protection, Pro-life and family, Reducing Dep't of Education, and Illegal Immigration.
He has never run for public office, but believes our founders intended for the average citizen to become involved in the political process to make the change we want to see for a more prosperous, safe and free country.
Brett Lloyd (R) is running for State Representative, District 70 in Indiana. Lloyd spent 14 years active duty in the Air Force as an instructor pilot, fighter pilot and test pilot. He still serves in the Air Force Reserves assigned to the Pentagon working in the office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Research and Engineering. He is also a pilot for UPS, a substitute teacher, and has taught children's Sunday School for 6 years. He and his family attend the United Methodist Church.
Todd Young (R) is a Marine veteran and Deputy Prosecutor in Orange County, Indiana. He is running for U.S. Representative. As a H.S. and college athlete he excelled in Soccer. His H.S team won the state championship, after H.S. he enlisted in the United States Navy. (According to Young's campaign page) he received an appointment from the Secretary of the Navy to attend the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, where his classmates elected him as a class officer. Young earned a varsity letter as a member of Navy's NCAA Division 1 soccer team. He graduated cum laude, earning a BS in political science, and accepted a commission in the U.S Marine Corps. He had a stellar career in the Marine Corps. Young was honorably discharged from active duty in 2000 as a Captain. He has accomplished much in the realm of politics since that time.
Young and his family attend Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.
