INSIGHT FROM A NATURALIZED CITIZEN and ARTICLE II OF THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION

I am glad that the our founding fathers incorporated the natural born clause into our Constitution and that to this day this clause has never been amended nor should it ever be amended. We are at a place and time in our nations history, and as a naturalized citizen I am relieved that the natural born citizen clause still exist. I have served proudly in the US Military and strongly feel and believe that the Constitution has not be changed so a none natural born citizen can become POTUS.
Our founding fathers knew exactly that a time would arise in our nation that this clause would prevent a usurper or foreign subversion taking control of the United States. No immigrant should ever feel discriminated against for not being able to hold the highest office as POTUS of this country.

Even more so in today's age, and especially because of the rising globalization is it necessary in keeping our constitution as a whole and as our founding fathers written them. I strongly believe that the birthplace is a proxy for loyalty, we know that some immigrant as well as natural born citizenship loyalties are questionable, not everyone who becomes a naturalized citizen loves this country as I do, therefore I feel and it is imperative that the Constitution are not changed or amended so naturalized citizen can hold the office of POTUS.

Immigrants know in advance that they will never be able to old the office of POTUS, to say now that this clause is discriminative is absurd, and to change this clause would place our country at the mercy and sale to the highest bidder. It is by no means undemocratic not to amend the Constitution, by using Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger as an example just demonstrates that this whole issue is purely driven by the Kennedy machine, because his wife Maria Schreiber a relative with strong ties to the Kennedy Clan would like to see her husband become the first naturalized citizen to hold the office of POTUS.

It is only common sense that the POTUS should be a "natural born citizen born in the US of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovreignty". Why, we could come across some fellow whose family is politically involved in some foreign country whose interests are totally the opposite of our own American values and that person might even go and CAMPAIGN for this family member ...

Prayers, praying that the TRUTH will come into the light for all to see. All the comments are wonderful...Mr. Obama, just show us the BC and all this speculation will go away. I believe this issue is simmering below the surface and noone whats to pull a Dan Rather. That is okay...the technology that Mr. Obama used with great skill is the same technology that will expose him. Amen.

thank you....you are right all of us have to stand beside each other in order to keep our nation free of these usurper or foreign subversion taking control of the United States. Most individuals can not even imagine what its like to live in a country were you are not really free...our great nation is the only free world left and to even suggest that our founding fathers intuition regarding the save guard of our country is out dated should back up and leave this country...

I give them just one (1) year living in a different country not being protected by there American citizenship...and there eyes would be wide open...I say everyone that does not love the good ole US of A...get the heck out and stay out....we do not need foreigners although naturalized serving in the highest office as POTUS of our land....I knew that when I became naturalized and I support this fully

Roosevelt said it best in his speech....and I for one are a firm believer of that same notion....that each naturalized citizen has to be integrated into the American way of life and each facet including learning the language of our country which is English....not the other way around.

Thank you so much for your thoughts. You sound very sincere about your love for this country and your opinion is very important. You have experience as a naturalized citizen that some of us don't have.

We need to pay special attention to any changes to our Constitution. We know that Obama thinks the Constitution no longer applies and needs to be changed. I hope he is never allowed to do that, but if he gets to appoint liberal Judges to the Supreme Court, we may not be able to stop it. And to think, Supreme Court Justices serve for life!

We need to pray for our Supreme Court to uphold the Constitution as it stands today and pass a united decision that Obama is not a "natural born" citizen and cannot serve as President. I know Obama has a lot of support and the ability to get his point across to some very powerful people, I just hope he does not have the power to sway the Judges.

We will have to keep fighting and stick together no matter what.
