Citizens Dedicated To Preserving Our Constitutional Republic

It's our money and we have the right to know where it's going!

Since last October, the federal government has spent, lent or committed $12.8 TRILLION of our money to the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) bailouts, "bank rescues," and an economic "stimulus" plan! Now the government owns a majority stake in General Motors, too!

Help me uncover the facts behind TARP and other bailouts and force the Feds to tell us where our money is and how it's being spent by making your most generous online gift today.

It's our money and we have the right to know where it's going!

This TARP program is one of the biggest scams ever committed against the American taxpayer in history, right in line with the political corruption that caused the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac last year.

It's true. TARP and other government bailouts have:

Put the American taxpayers on the hook for TRILLIONS in public money spent, lent or committed by the government to the financial "rescue" in the form of bailouts and the Obama economic "stimulus" plan;
Fundamentally altered the relationship between the government and the private sector, without the American people having a say or a vote on this radical change in how our economy works;
And given Barack Obama and his leftist administration an excuse to pursue his aggressive socialist agenda. As Obama White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel famously said "Never let a good crisis go to waste!"
As a part of our efforts to get to the truth, your Judicial Watch just sued the Treasury Department to learn why TARP funds were distributed to a Boston bank (OneUnited Bank) after intervention by liberal Congressman Barney Frank.

Of course you know Barney Frank. He's the same Congressman who heads the House Financial Services Committee that oversees Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae -- the same committee that took no action even after a 2004 government investigation found massive fraudulent bookkeeping at Fannie Mae. (Frank was also one of the top 4 recipients of campaign money from Fannie Mae.)

Frank pressured regulators to shake loose a $12 million TARP grant for OneUnited Bank which was in massive financial turmoil and under attack from its regulators for allegations of poor lending practice and executive-pay abuses (including owning a Porsche for its executives' use.)

So if you share my deep anger at the financial crisis and the subsequent explosion in the size and reach of government that the corrupt Washington political establishment and its special interest allies have created for our nation, I hope you will support Judicial Watch by making your most generous online gift today.

Judicial Watch has the expert team of lawyers and investigators to do the job, but we don't charge our "clients"...the American people...for our services. We rely solely on generous support from people like you.

It is time for we the people to demand that the Obama administration live up to the President's "open government" campaign rhetoric!

It's time to know where our TARP and other bailout money is going – all $12.8 TRILLION of it!
