Killer coke, another attack at American Capitalism

I was researching the killer coke Campaign issue for a political science class after the protest that happened at WSU in late January. I didn’t think it was worth writing to the papers about but after seeing more of the same political manipulation in the health care bill I felt led to bring up this issue again. Thought my research I saw more of the anti-capitalism lecture I have been bombarded with of late. I’m tired of hearing how large Multinational Corporation and wealthy individuals are the new villains of American society. When the unions and “political entities” rival some of these corporations in political clout, and funding base I think it’s quite hypocritical to attack them politically and economically. I am also greatly disturbed by their use of college student as ponds to further then own greedy agendas. I was a very active member in political organizations in the past and was used as such a pond and am appalled to see it continuing on college campus, especially our own. As college student we need to educate ourselves on the issues and not become ponds of the unions and the “none” profit organizations. Only then can we truly make a difference in our communities and our nation. Do not be tool for big business, or big government, like the protesters against Coca Cola.
